JENNA: If you do win this bout and Manny Pacquiao does not want to do a rematch, a fight that everybody would want to see in boxing would be a fight between you and Sergio Martinez. Do you think that you will be able to go up to middleweight and fight him if you are to win this bout?

MOSLEY: No, I wouldn’t go up to middleweight to face Sergio Martinez because he’s too big. 154 pounds I can get away with where I’m not as strong or whatever, but my body frame is not big enough for that. If Manny Pacquiao doesn’t want to fight maybe I can get a rematch with Mayweather.

Mosley also fought and KOed Antonio Margarito. Where's the outrage about Shane ducking Sergio?

Its not like hes on any Sergio Martinez list of viable opponents.

Mosley can't hold 154lbs, let alone 160lbs. Have you even seen any of his fights at 154? he's looked absolute shite, now imagine what a 160lbs beast who comes in at 170lbs does ot him?

I wonder whether Marquez could bulk up a bit again and fight Martinez?

If he had the opportunity to face Martinez at 154 he would take it..

He probably would, if Martinez handed him a shot.

Given how bad Shane has looked at 154 throughout the years, I'd lay money on Martinez stopping him.

Martinez style is all wrong for him at 154, Mosley said himself that he doesnt like facing anyone with alot of footwork.

Martinez would stop him mid/late rounds

You can tell mosley is just looking for big money fights, watch him challenge khan in 2 years at 147.

Having seen his last two fights, if he loses in bad fashion to Manny one has to wonder how many shots he's gonna be given?

Shane Mosley is always going to be a name, but how many times is he going to be recycled for "mega fights", really? :blood

This is the exact argument people are saying about Pacquiao though. Pacquiao cannot hold 154lbs, yet people are calling for him to face Martinez.

I wouldn't mind him facing Martinez myself, but if it's too much, nothing goes against him...2 divisions seperate them after all.

I agree but he strikes me as a delusional guy that will keep going on eventhough he should probably retire after this fight. Dont be surprised if he end up fighting guys like alvarez or khan, on the other hand thats golden boy so they might not want anything to do with him.
Mosley vs cintron/williams/angulo/margarito 2 at 154 are fights I dont mind seeing to be honest.

Well I think he is right about his analysis, but if he was given the shot, the money would probably get him there, I just think he knows he won't get the shot, and that he is pretty much shot, we'll find out May 7 if he has anything left in the tank. Yes he beat Margarito, but Tony has been shot for a long time now, he's been hit far too much and turned pro at 15. He was peaking out in 2005, he hasn't done **** since he beat Cotto in my opinion, I'm not even sure why he is considered for big fights anymore, maybe because he is a warrior and aggressive and easy to hit, getting easier each fight too, his days in big fights are very limited in my opinion.

People fail to realize Pacquiaos natural weight has been around the 140ish for many years, he's cut weight in order to make fly and super fly.

Pacquiao would be in serious trouble against an athlete with skills like Martinez, who outweighs him by that much.

You believe he was 140-ish when he was at Fly/Super Fly?

Pacquiao has the tools to beat Martinez IMO...the size difference is the problem.
