JMM didn't have to wait at all. Pac offered him an immediate rematch after their first fight and he declined, saying it wasn't enough money. He then opted to fight Chris John in an Indonesian parking lot for $30,000.

this is superfeather and pacquiao was never a superfly. he went straight form flyweight to super bantam after he lost to singsurat.

If the Marquez bout happens, I'd like to see Pacquiao give up some weight, or even have it as a non-title catchweight bout. We have seen Marquez at WW...he doesn't carry the weight well. Pacquiao's team have used catchweights in the past to bridge weight, they shouldn't contradict themselves by asking for Marquez to make a jump too far out of his comfort zone.

He's been a feather since 2003, anyone have fight night weights of his featherweight fights?

Yes sir, honest mistake on my part.

Are there any reports of his fight night weight in his featherweight fights? I wanna know since he was anything between 139-144lbs at super feather.

lot's of horse**** in here. so what's the difference with pac and jamm fighting at 140 and 147? they would be almost the same weight by fight night? it's not as if pacquiao will use 147 to balloon-up to 155+ just like what floyd did.

I doubt it would be humanly possible to add a good 30 or so pounds on over night...I thought you may have been mistaken. :good

And, no...don't know his weights from back then.

The reason they're not making concessions for JMM is probably because of the way he handled their negotiations for the first rematch. Now Pacquiao is a superstar and JMM is relatively a nobody, so in their eyes, if he doesn't want to jump through hoops he can go **** himself. JMM has fought Pac twice and didn't win either time. As much as I and you and a lot of other hardcore fans would like to see another fight between them, it's not like Marquez actually is entitled to it.

Do you really think Pacs gonna give up any advantages to someone who has arguably beat him twice. No way in hell specially as long as JMM is looking impressive.

Obviously he wasn't in his 140lbs at those weights, that would be impossible and outright dangerous for him to juggle with.

don't know for sure but he fought barrera and jmm first at 126. my guess is he's around 132-138 on fight night. pacquiao looks smaller than barrera in their first fight, same with marquez. the time that i first realized him bulking-up is with morales at 130.

Because JMM has not looked good anywhere beyond 140lbs. So light welterweight would be good considering JMM has moved down to lightweight yet again.

And the truth is, a JMM fight was called on by the boxing public, and instead they got Mosley who has looked weaker than horse **** in his last two fights, whereas JMM has been consistent in his last few fights.
