The same count was given to Douglas earlier in the fight but called tyson out. BS

 

That fight is still an enigma to me because Douglas was never a big puncher or that great, but that night he did a perfect, text book job and shattered the Tyson myth for good. Just shows that nobody can take any fight lightly.

 

I'm glad he didn't get up, he was getting his ass kicked.

 

Thats why HWs have so many upsets, guys at the lower weights have to work hard to make weight, so they don't get to slack off as much. Douglas, when he was serious was about as good as Tucker, who was not an easy win for Tyson.

 

Tyson had one of the best chins in the game. Even Lenox Lewis said he was amazed how much punishment Tyson took when he beat him. One of Tyson trainers, who trained him for the Douglas fight told him, that Mike was looking for an ass whipping from his lack of training. As we saw on that night he got just that. Douglas mother passing I believe is what motivated him to keep going and prevailing in that fight.

 

Tyson style, was way too damaging for a guy his size. Taking shots like that from big behemoth's, really ****ed up his punch resistance...

Buster Douglas was in great shape? No Norton was in great shape when he boxed, Holyfield was in great shape. Douglas was never in great shape and he was never known for being a punching and he iced Tyson high pitched voice ass.
