Pac weighed in 144 for a fight that was contracted at 150

Floyd weight in 146 for a fight that was contracted at 144

what they weighed at 16 makes no difference.

The fight was contracted at 147 with an agreed to catch weight of 144. If it wasn't, the fight would have been off and/or their would have been a purse forfeiture.

The lengths of BS you guys have to go through to perpetuate your Pac fantasies is a bit funny.

Yep, even PED use would not compensate a 15+ lbs difference if the fighter with the weight advantage also had the skills to go along with it.

It's not that Martinez is to big. It's because Martinez is not a bum in the ring, he knows how to get the job done and his style will give Manny major problems. Magarito was big but lacked any real skill, which could be and would be exploited this is why he was chosen.

Obviously when Pacquiao says Martinez is too big, the assumption is that he's both big and skilled.

If both were fighting in the same weight class, I have no reason to believe Pacquiao would avoid Martinez based on only Martinez' skill level.

I agree, this is one of the reasons why I say that Mayweather does not really have to fight Pac to secure his legacy. Sure everyone would love to see it but a fight with Martinez is a lot more risky then with Pac. Beating Martinez should shut up any haters who claim that he's afraid of Pac, because Pac will never fight Martinez. Especially if Floyd doesn't fight him at a catch weight.

why would he do it? pac fight is less risky and makes way more money, plus pac is a clear atg while sergio hopfelly will end up in the hof.
Fighting pac is the logical choice

Lies. Martinez and Margarito are around the same size it's just that Pacquiao's team doesn't want him to fight Martinez. Arum wouldn't allow that to happen and Pacquiao is more or less a puppet. I love him as a fighter but no way does Martinez/Pacquiao happen.

Do we need to review what P4P rankings are? Martinez won't stay ranked as high as he is much longer in my opinion.

Martinez is too big for him, said that after the P-Dub fight and it's still true. Manny has options at 147 & 140 to chase ... forget Maravilla

martinez would be a lot of trouble for pac if he went up in weight to fight martinez and that not only because of the size but becouse of the simple reason that pac doesnt feel comfortable there

Pac is a 130-135lb fighter, the fact that he is not wanting to fight Wlad or some other fighter way bigger is the reason why boxing has weight divisions.

When Martinez is taking belts at 175lbs and heavyweight let me know.

Yes it is the most logical and more money, but at the way things are going will we ever see it happen? When I say Floyd fighting Martinez I mean it as an alternative to save his leagacy. Know he won't get the money but he will get the glory for beating him. As far as money he can make that up whithin two or three fights after.

Martinez will have to cut limb to make 154lbs. Tell him to pick a fight north of his weight class.
