15-0 and woww, already ranked so high by WBO! As you know Wlad holds the WBO belt. In my opinion Helenius is not ready for title shot yet. Not even close to being ready. Maybe 2-3 years more and then it is good time to give him his shot to the title. I really hope that Sauerland understands that he is too young and unexperienced for Wlad. a Match against Wlad could be a murder to his career at this point. And I hope that fightfans understands that also. I don't want him to get that ''Povetkined''. You know, People saying that he is coward cause he is not fighting for the title. In Helenius's case it would be a whole different thing. He is already ranked #2 but in my opinion he is not ready for the title yet so please be patient :good

    Go Helenius! :bbb

I think the #2 ranking is totally bogus, but I realy believe (unlike a lot of people here) this guy really can go all the way... But not right now.

Source? On another popular website, Tua is still #2 in the WBO.

I love Helenius' style, that wide right to the ribcage and leveraged left hook to the head are great. When Gerry Cooney said that today's heavyweights don't go to the body, it was obvious he has not seen Helenius fight---or the other heavyweights who do go to the body. I'd like to see a Finnish heavyweight champion.

this will be wlad most important fight in two years. because helenius will go on and be world champion for some time, and if wlad beats him, i'm sure he will, then his legacy will go high up

Thats a bit to soon to be placed that high imo. But on the other hand, he is one of the best upcoming fighters at HW right now

Name anyone better at this point outside of the big 4.

Chagaev? Dimentrenko? We know he is better than Peter. Maybe Povetkin, but is he even still fighting?

Helenius makes a very legit number 2.

Too bad Klitschkos gonna Annihilate Helenius and Haye is too fast for Helenius too. But he will give a Fight for these guys, no doubt about it.

damn this sucks. robert will be soon (when vitali beats adamek) in the same situation where povetkin was. he is too young and green to fight klitschkos but is a best available contender..

    He's a better #2 than Tua anyway.

Intestesting development. It looks like Helenius may become WBO mandatory soon, if he wants it. Adamek will fight Vitali and either lose his ranking or become WBC champ, so Helenius will be next, and Wlad will defend the WBO belt before the IBF belt.

Well Helenius is in the Ring Top 10 now. It's amusing--they don't want to boot Goosen's golden boy Arreola so they are listing the champ and the Top 11 heavies with Arreola as #11. IMHO neither Arreola nor Boystov deserve a place in the Top 10--neither have defeated a Top 30 heavy.

This guy has murderous power, don't know if he has the skill to hang at the top but he could make a living pounding the hell out of guys like Peter & Brewster. I'd say his next victim could very well be Arreola! or Tua! Or the Rock. He needs to keep feasting on guys that are more power based rather thank skilled boxers.
