I agree Floyd, you could say the same about sports fans of other countries but in general the irish would get better support and that doesn't even take into consideration our relatively small numbers, i would conceede that the dutch soccer team get better support than us.

As for the 1% of global air travel Floyd... I read that in a reputable publication back in 2003 and your scepticism began to plant doubts in my mind so i just had a quick check of the figures

there is an average of 49,315 commercial flights each day, lets say there is an average of 160 on each flight (and I'm being generous here) that makes 7,890,400 air passengers each day, 80,000 is 1% of 8,000,000 so 1% is accurate :yep

Dunk, as he said in that exact post, they didn't set the PPV price. Agreed on the rest though.

also to point out Martin Murray & Rendall Munroe would not have been shown live by Sky as part of the origionallly advertised undercard.

I really find that hard to beleive about the flights stuff but guess your right. Mental!!

Why so many would travel to watch Celtic is beyond me. Scottish football is ****.

How many British went to watch Hatton in the states. 10x the journey and cost. 5,000 went to Germany for Haye vs Valuev.

I am not doubting the Irish get fantastic support but theres other countires just the same. England, the Dutch. Italians travel in big numbers etc.

Well the population of England alone is over 50 million whereas Ireland is about 4.5 million....

    Anyway, come on Dudey!

While this is true what percentage of the Irish fans on Saturday will be coming for Ireland North or South. Most will be Irish that live in England.

Same can be said off Celtic fans. How many of them were coming from Scotland?? Celtic fans all over.

I go into the pub during the six nations and see 50 guys in irish shirts drinking guiness.....even if 6 weeks later they have england ones on during the world cup and there drinking carling again.

Both fighters weighed in at 139 lbs and both looked in terrific shape, although Khans legs looked extremely thin compared to before.

Khan's getting crumbled again, I can sense it. All roads lead to Dudey. McCloskey at 6/1 for a stoppage.
