    Where has he overrated it?

He said the Kotelnik fight would go the distance. - Amir UD
He said the Salita fight would go to early-mid rounds. - Amir TKO1
He said the Malignaggi fight would probably go the distance. - Amir TKO 11
He said the Maidana fight could go late rounds to a decision. - Amir UD

Unless you can provide me a quote saying otherwise :think

“We’re ready for the fight and have the game plan down,” Roach earlier today in a conference call. “We will go after Maidana sometime in the fight, but after we break him down. That’ll take some rounds because he’s a durable guy. But we will break him down and knock him out in the late rounds.”

What actually happens - In the late rounds Khan is running and holding on for a well earnt decision.

That is classic, I have been very impressed with Eddie Hearn this last week and I am now a fan of his.

I'm pretty sure he said that Malignaggi and Maidana would get KO'd within 6.

But thats just the **** talk. You get the real predictions when hes calm and speaking to real journalists etc ie late TKO for both Malignaggi and Maidana

Freddie can't exactly dictate what Amir will do on the night or know how well Maidana will take his punches. Just because a trainer makes a prediction doesn't mean it'll be correct now, will it?

In this case, every trainer in the world must overrate their fighters power.

That aside, what is your prediction, TFFP?

At the first presser, he said it would go to a UD.

Yep, he does talk a lot of shite, but I genuinely think he's right about the McCloskey fight.

    No more than four rounds!

He also said he'd knock out Malignaggi in 3 rounds and in the cold light of day claimed it was a wind up when he realized how ******ed that was. Fact is, Roach makes 5 different predictions a lot of the time depending on what side of the bed he woke up and then gets hailed a genius and he does have a track record of bigging up Khan's power beyond what he's ever displayed in the ring with his predictions and also the way he talks about it.

I expect Khan to stop him in the mid to late rounds. I'd be disappointed if he doesn't get a decent stoppage against a guy that is physically outmatched and has no secondary line of defence beyond reflexes. It mostly depends on McCloskey's toughness which is impossible to measure.

It would have been cooler if they used a question mark instead of a exclamation mark and double checked their spelling.

Roach does overrate Khan's power- i think it's all mind games

I do know Khan does floor more sparring partners than before

I think they are trying to infer he's dumb.

Cheap and crap but funnier because of it, reminds me of the Beano or something.
