The thread storm festered up when the author decided he is Prince-Of-The-Boxing-Pen, from the way it starts out, the thread creator seems to have a vendetta. It's just my opinion, of course, but save your money means don't buy these books. I think his criticisms, in part, are somewhat reasonable, it depends on what you expect. If you read a book and are big on specific verifications, that's one thing. Suppose one finds the source, but still disagrees with what they read? In that case, verification is useless. But to tell others not to buy them, at all, should not be the end-all for inquiries regarding the publications. What if someone didn't like his, still "phantom-like" publication if and when it comes out? Is it my place to say "Save your Money?" It shouldn't be, besides, I would never do that. I would simply not buy it. That's just me, however. I have finished one of those books. I have Clay Moyle's book, I like a it, so far, very much, and may purchase Clabby's, as well ('cause someone said not to.) I'd like to build my library. I even have Skazinski's, OMG,! Ketchel book, and Paloolian's Ketchel book. Long live Ketchel's memory. My opinion, only.
Hey FistforK, since you arent Manuel (yeah right) Have you read the book? If you have have any of my criticisms been inaccurate? If so please explain in detail how I have misrepresented the book. I mean, the ****ing author cant or wont even refute what Im saying on here. Lets hear him explain in detail his missteps and why those arent valid criticisms.
