I also think AA can pull the upset but it is going to be tough, because he is going to have to constantly struggling to keep from being tied up by Ward who clinches after throwing his combo. And if AA is not stepping back and countering, but instead covering up, he is going to get tied up and mauled on the inside. AA has a chance because Ward is NOT a puncher and he isn't that tall or rangy compared to AA. Certainly nothing like Dirrel or Froch. But it is still going to be tough for AA to pull off. I will accept a 50 to 150 (in my favor) Vcash bet from a Andre Ward supporter. PM and let me know if anyone is interested.
Ward is gonna win....by a wide margin unless Abraham makes adjustments to his strategy and throws more punches, then he would have a better chance...Ward is too good fundamentally go get hit by those crazy bombs that Abraham throws.....
It isn't throwing more punches, it is throwing them at the right time. He must counter his opponents flurries or punch with them at times when he can't get a clean counter off. He must also be mindful of distance and not let ward fall on the inside where he will tie AA up. Can he do that I don't know. I think there is a chance but as my bet indicates I am not totally confident of it.
Man I hope Abraham stops Ward. SOB Ward is a dirty fighter who has his hometown ref's and judges in towe and only gets supported on here for one major reason.
Abraham has to impress now. What will happens if his game plan is to put in a 5 round all out war attacking Tyson-style coming forward punching wild and hard..................:bbb:bbb He could win..................if not every body knows how the next 7 rounds will develops.......:?
Yep. He would be brutally stopped for the first time. Either he hits a home run or he catches too many punches with his grill and wilts and folds. If he couldn't avoid Froch's punches he will certainly not like getting hit by punches he can't see coming. Gonna be a long night ....
This might be another 120-108 loss for Abraham..:yep I hope he atleast one Floors Ward which is unlikely..
Let's hope AA gets him in a corner early, and unleashes his power from hell. I have been an Aruthur fan ever since I first saw his unique style and amazing power. These other fighters getting the better of AA stops, NOW>.......... Its time AA redeemed himself.
Sure enough, Ward stood up to the hardest stuff Abraham could land (a left hook early and two more in the 12th). He also managed to avoid getting hit with anything cleanly 90% of the rest of the time. Total masterclass. Abraham never even had a puncher's chance.
