**** Kirk's ESB Championships 2011 ****

Good thing ichanged my pick to kiko. To bad i changed my provodnikov pick to popoca. Narvaez pick worked out and i got mundine too. Might have chance to move into the top ten.

 

There was a rule that you had to get the picks in about 1 day ahead. I don't know if that's still enforced or not, but just as long as the fight doesn't start you should be good to go.

 

Cool, thanks, Demolition. I'll pick for tomorrow soon. I'm trying to brush up. IntentionalButt's thread made the Narvaez fight sound pretty damn good. I hope I can find it tomorrow.

Yea, it was a good fight. Nice action in spots and Narvaez was Narvaez very slick, used his boxing skills, threw combos,etc. He looked like Omar Narvaez, Seda fought well, but he's just not in the class of Omar Narvaez.

Almost 36...I wonder what else we can get out of this terrific little fighter. I wish he could score a really big one before leaving. Well, as big as you can get at those weight classes anyway. Think he could get a fight with and beat-...never mind. I won't say it.

Oh yeah, nice kickoff for the weekend! I'm glad I changed my pick to Kiko just in time around midnight hawaiian time, it paied off. Was a little worried about Narvaez-Seda if I missed a good little up and coming fighter, but Omar is top quality and got the usual UD (and I got your money Bolieu, hahahahaha).

Berto and Ortiz look absolutely ripped, and once again just to be able to whine afterwards I say I should change to Vic by KO, but I won't.

Just finished watching Berto/Hernandez and Ortiz/Peterson.

Whoa, how the heck did the judges score this a draw?:shock:

 

What did you think of the stoppage for berto? A bit questionable imo... And I genuinely had peterson winning, aside from the knockdowns I thought he schooled ortiz.

Should be some good fights tonight! Might be time for booth to call it a day now tho

That was some shameful ****. Not only Ortiz won 6 rounds out of 10, he scored two freaking knockdowns. Yet one judge had Peterson winning. atsch
