Fought and won titles in 5 divisions from super feather to jr middleweight, undefeated :yep and after already having gone up 6 divisions

No wonder Mayweather is so bitter. Pac made his main claim to greatness look easy :deal

Pac got an earlier start to his career than most which is why he won a title so early.

If Mayweather started at 16 and took on the same competition Pac did, he would of been the same amount division champion if not more (because Pac did skip a class and Im guessing they would of taken advantage of it earlier.)

Mayweather wasn't fighting at 16? Didn't Mayweather win in the Olympics?

Yep, Floyd's always the king of hypotheticals. Pac actually did it, no-one can take that away. Mayweather if he wanted could be fighting at middleweight, he's bigger than Pac and has the skillset for it. Never wanted to test himself like that though.

Yes but you act like what he did was amazing. Which at 16 is, but the competition he was facing wasn't all that great. Pac only had what 65 amateur fights, and you are telling me, Mayweather who had more, and had also done more, wouldn't of also beat the same fighters?

That's the problem, Pac got an early start, there is no going past that. Pac won his championship when he was 20! Which if he would of started would of likely taken longer to get to that point, possibly.

You are sort of holding it against Mayweather that his body matured faster than Pac's and he had to turn pro at a certain weight.

We have to accept facts that Pac is such amazing fighter and kind of lucked out that he was that good at that early of age to beat championship (despite it being weak) level.

Yes what Pac did was great but the true is the true. Pac got an early started vs weak competition. I still see him as greater than Mayweather.

As an amateur sure but Pacquaio turned pro at 16/17 which was a headstart for him.

It is amazing. Whan another fighter wins fights in 5 divisions over 7 fights, let alone wins belts in all of them it would be amazing to me. The fact he turned pro earlier should make it even more impressive as he was taking punishment from 16 and had wars with Barrera, Morales and Marquez before he even achieved this in his 30's.

Him moving up to beat Diaz. Was good at best.

Him fighting DLH, not that great.

Beating Ricky Hatton, widely expected. (I even predicted a stoppage) But still a very good win.

Beating Cotto despite the catch weight was great.

    Beating Clottey, decent at best.

Beating Margarito, a joke at best.

Despite this, I still think what he did vs Cotto, and Hatton make up for it. Because his last two opponents were joke of fights.

Mosley is the only joke fight really, because of his age, yet he was Floyd's best win at welter just a year ago.

All his wins since Marquez II have been great, against top rated guys (minus De La Homo who made sure he had an excuse by allowing to be weighed-in the day of the fight, which he usually never did), his performances awesome. They wouldn't be saying he had to be on PEDs to do it if it wasn't something extraordinary

Pac is the Duran of this era, who also fought through like 10-11 divisions as a small guy. Once he's gone and no-one else comes close to doing what he did will people appreciate the true value of his recent accomplishments

    The title should be :

What Mayweather is trying to achieve in his entire career, Pac did in under 3 years/7 fights

You also need to take into consideration that Pacquiao made it the hard way in boxing. "Old school" way if you may call it. He started to up his competition when Pacquiao fought a great boxer in chatchai sasakul who by then was a fly weight champion. Very underrated win in ESB.

Another one was Ledwaba. Pacquiao stepped into the fight as a late replacement on two weeks' notice but won the fight by technical knockout and won the IBF junior feather weight title. Very underrated win aswell in ESB.

The rest is history after the Barrera fight. The thing about Pacquiao is, he actually makes the fight happen and prove the critics wrong time and again. Floyd's career on the other hand was great, but too many fighters he could've fought along the way but didn't. I guess like what he said "Legacy don't pay my bills".

well he did win titles in 5 divisions, 3 lineal belts. Pac could also have had 3 lineal belts in his recent run if only Mayweather would man up and give him the opportunity.

That's because of what Mosley was when Floyd beat him. And what was considered top opponents vs when Floyd was fighting.
Pac is great and what he has done is great but the reality is out of his last 7 fights.. I mean come on. Where can we give him true credit with the exception of the Cotto and Hatton fights?

Same with Floyd and any other great fighter. It ALWAYS happens. Pac is great and currently greater than Floyd. I expect him to end up when he finishes his career in the top 20 if not top 15.

 If Bernard Hopkins had started boxing at 16, he'd have a record of 158-8-3 by now. If Pernell Whitaker was 6ft 5in tall, he'd have won titles in 12 weight classes. If Arturo Gatti had 3 arms he'd have won all 3 fights with Micky Ward.
