What Mayweather achieved in his entire career, Pac did in under 3 years/7 fights

It was because Mosley was coming off a shocking win over Margo. In reality he had a long layoff and wasn't the same Mosley. The Mosley Pac will fight will be closer to the Mosley Mayweather fought. Great win by Floyd though, Mosley was supposed to give him a tough fight and he dominated, even immediately after getting hurt to show he's as tough as he is skilled

In those 7 fights Cotto and Hatton were no doubt great wins. What about dominating Clottey, made him look like a punching bag like so many like to say on here, when he gave all the top fighters he fought a tough fight? If anyone else beat Clottey like that it would be a great win. If Martinez did it he'd be the GOAT lol. What about dominating De La Hoya like he'd never been dominated before, when it was supposed to be the other way round? Boxing must be the only sport where one athlete can **** up, get smashed, his opponent does every right, puts in a great performance yet he is the one that pays for it and gets no credit. As for Margo, he destroyed a big welter who was top 3 for years, giving up 17lbs. Whether Margo was completely shot I guess we'll see in his coming fights. He looked like he had something left to me.

Mayweather, well he was more like Leonard. Wasted a fair bit of his prime with inactivity but still achieved a hell of a lot. No doubt Pac and Mayweather are easily the greatest of their time. Hell you can't mention one without the other now, like Messi and Ronaldo, Federer and Nadal. Probably be the same 10 years from now. I'm not helping with threads like this I know, just a bit of a wind up anyway aswell as to highlight Pac's achievements. Mayweather being a 5 division champ going undefeated in over 40 fights is some feat too

Actually if the Gatti Ward trilogy was at 147 instead of at 142 catchweights Gatti would've won all three fights easily. Just thought I'd throw that in seeing as catchweights seems to a hot topic these days

How many catchweight did he do in between? How many vacant titles did he win?

De la Hoya, Margarito, Clottey no good wins for Pac?
You kids are crazy these days...

I'm looking forward to a time when Pac gets some respect for what he has done.
In 20 years it will be consensus that he was a top 5 ATG.

So stop the hating just because Manny isn't black and no wannabe-G and therefore you can't identify yourself with him.

Be happy that you are able to witness this great phenomenon first hand, just appreciate it, enjoy the beauty and keep your blasphemic comments to yourself.

Mayweather is a great boxer, no doubt, but he isn't anything special. Boxers like Pacquiao are born only once every 500 years. Hell, even Floyd respects Manny's supremacy, that's why he would rather swim with some sharks than meet the GOAT in the ring.

I wonder if there will be a *****-mass-suicide if the fight ever happens and Pac annihilates Void in 1 round like he is destined to.

    Cliffs:
    - You all don't know **** about boxing
    - Pacman is the GOAT

I agree. Is Pac fought Mosley when Mayweather did, he would get as much credit from me as I give Floyd and I would **** on Floyd for taking such a fight now.

Clottey, come on, who went into that fight besides random trolls that picked Clottey to win? No one, we all predicted a wide UD by Pac. Simple as that.

DLH. I predicted a DLH win, but once I saw the fight night weights I IMMEDIATELY changed my prediction to a Pac KO. There was no way DLH was functional at that weight and I am surprised the Doctors even allowed him in the ring.

Margarito I am not even sure is shot, I just know he's a cheater. He hasn't proven anything and likely won't proven anything. And Cotto is nearly done too. His chin and the fights he's been in, he's clearly slowed. No thanks to Cheatarito

It's overlooked with what Pac has done despite many knowing what Pac has done isn't all that much greater given the circumstances. He's 18 division champion from weak competition in the early stages.

well ray leonard had 3 catchweight title fights later on in his career. won one vacant title, same as pac. Hearns had two vacant titles later in his career, against guys who never won a title at any weight. pac wasn't the first to win a vacant title dude.

    WTF are you laughing at?
You are trying to **** on Pac's resume when it consists to a big degree of people that Void was too afraid to fight and still is.
    That's a FACT.

Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Cotto, De la Hoya, Margarito, Hatton, Clottey is a weak resume?REALLY?

A couple of years ago people would've called you demented if you told them that Pac could compete with fighters like Margarito. Now he destroys them and you want to tell me those are "meaningless" and "weak" wins?

    GTFO...

Pac did this all post 2000.

    We have another 88+ years.

We all won't even be around to see it likely. To even call Pac the fighter of the century right now is LAUGHABLE.

Sure he's leading it at the moment, but it's laughable to even consider him the absolute winner.
