And I never said they were weak and meaningless.

But I will say Pac for every fight was considered to win and win big.

With the exception of a few fights of course but since he beat Morales, he has not been the underdog and most people haven't picked him to lose.

Him beating Margarito is nothing, it's not even in his top 15 victories. It was a worthless victory to pick up a 154lb title, against a guy who's never won a 154lb title.

He is the favourite in most of his fights bc he is the best right now, how can you hold that against him? Please tell me who should Pac face apart from Mayweather to not be the overwhelming favourite?

    The Klitschkos?

Forget about the title, forget about the catchweight, a fighter with Manny's physique beating a well acomplished boxer with Margaritos physique is not nothing. Name one other ex-SuperBantam who could do this.

People forget how margarito showed up in the best shape of his life and pac gave him a brutal beating for 12 rounds. people look past it because it was for a title at 150, if it was for the 147 title at 150 it would be more impressive? Also with oscar, because he ****ed the weight up its considered a meaningless win, yet he gets no respect for jumping up and taking the risk and looking better then he has ever looked.

Im not sure how people can think this is a legitimate claim.

Clottey, Cotto, Margarito, Hatton and DLH are not that great when he faced them. Half of them by his own trainers admittance. Another troll, please this isn't a bridge.

Personally I think it is remarkable what Pacquiao has done, his rise has been meteoric and I find it hard to fault any of his choice of fights as he's moved up. Even his next fight Mosley is fine with me because apart from Mayweather at 147Lbs he's the best fight and biggest name available. Berto is too green and is fighting Ortiz, whilst he's already fought Marquez twice.

If he can't get Mayweather next then yes, by all means revise the situation and look at Marquez and Berto as possibilities, but right now Mosley is a good choice, he's a big name that Manny hasn't yet fought and if he can better Mayweathers performance, maybe even STOP Mosley it will certainly look good on his resume, despite Shane's age.

Calls for Manny to fight Martinez are crazy and a step too far IMO, Pacman has already set a dangerous precedent by defying logic with his sharp rise smashing through the weight barriers, not many, if any are capable of replicating what he's done.

Pac made it look easy that's why haters are discrediting all those wins.
But I guess the real reason is by doing that pac rose above all the current fighters including floydie and *****s just can't deal with that.

150 was a great weight for Margarito. He was always big for 147, but when he fought a true 154-pounder in Daniel Santos, he looked like naturally smaller man, smaller frame. 150 was an excellent weight for Margo to be at his best.

    That's a silly comment.

Margarito's credentials can't really be ****ed with - the guy has a stoppage win over Cotto, 2 stoppage wins over Kermit Cintron, and a win over Joshua Clottey.

He's won a string of ww title fights, he had a monstrous 17lbs weight advantage on the night, and he ****ing brung it on the night.

It was a very good performance and a good win.

Some people need to only to use their eyes to see this. Stupid people base it from what a fighter or his trainer says. Use your senses, they were given to you for a reason

all good points except for the fact that Manny lost that second Marquez fight.
