Fighters who were KO'd in their careers, but had very good chins?

All this talk of "Glass Jaws" on here has made me think - what fighters were properly KO'd or badly TKO'd, but had what you would call a solid or very good chin - ie, not "Glass" at all?

Here are some of my own nominees:

    -

(KO'd by Hearns at 154 - the only proper stoppage-due-to-punches loss of Duran's career between 1968 and 1998!)

(KO'd by Benvenuti at 154 - Rodriguez had only been stopped once before in 103 fights)

Thing is with Duran though he was rarely hit clean and hard because of his subtle head movement on the front foot.

plenty of fighters, being KO'd once or twice doesnt mean anything about a fighters chin being glass

I think just about every great fighter has been KO'd at one point or another

He got hit hard and clean by a 170lbs+ Iran Barkley, and he didn't go anywhere.

Morales got legitimately stopped in the 2nd Pac fight, but he didn't get properly KO'd.

Agreed. A lot of great fighters at the end of their career or fighting above their natural weight have been stopped.

Tyson!!! His chin was great IMO...yeah he got stopped but only after he'd had the crap kicked out of him for a good number of rounds up to that. His chin was solid. Vitali's chin looks good...never been KO'd or KD yet! Seen him hold on a few times though..but hey he's human after all and all fighters do that when they take a big shot...clinch!

Any fighter can be KO'd. Espesh if they take a bomb they never saw coming. Many a time a fighter can and does take bigger shots and several of them than ones that previously KO'd them in an earlier fight.

I don't think Tyson had a great chin.
