Care to provide me a link where it says Morales was "not" KO'd in the 3rd fight?

Nah, I care to say that I have seen the fight and Morales didn't get knocked out.

Watch the Ruddock wars, Smith fight, Bruno fight, & Lewis fight again. He toke bombs and the only way to stop Tyson was to beat him into a pulp. The only time Tyson was stopped early was when he was a fossil. Even faded he still went 8 rounds with Lewis taking many big shots and we all can agree that Lewis could hit.

    Other mentions are:

    Margarito
    Holyfield
    Lamotta

I think Tyson had a good, solid chin, but I wouldn't say a great one.

And LaMotta was never really KO'd. Twice he was pulled out, was stopped on his feet by Ray, and threw the other fight.

Well he did throw the fight with Billy Fox to face Cerdan if wiki is right lol but here's what I found.

"December 1952 at the hands of

when Nardico caught him with a hard right in the seventh round. LaMotta fell into the ropes and went down. After regaining his footing, he was unable to come out for the next round"

So yes, he was never truly ko'd. Gatti & Saad had very good chins but were stopped. DLH too but that was a bodyshot in one fight and a corner stoppage in another.

Morales was counted out by the ref. That's a KO in my book. Let's just say we agree to disagree. Look it up when you get a chance. FYI, I saw the fight also.

You're crazy. No one goes 8 rounds taking the bombs Tyson did from Lewis without having a great chin. He also toke hellacious shots from Ruddock and didn't go down. All his kds prior to him being very old and faded result from being off balance(Holyfield 1) or taking a vicious beating(Douglas). Smith, Bruno, and Ruddock could hit but they didn't take him out or even deck him. Just look at some of this vid.

Another shoutout is to Mayorga as his punch resistance went down after the Tito fight really. Mosley is a good puncher and it toke him almost their whole fight to knock him out.

 What age are you, 12? This thread is about fighters who had great chins despite being knocked out by a punch, a la Duran and Rodriguez. If you want to play dumb like an 8 year old fanboy who thinks semantics and technicalities are the coolest inventions in history, be my ****ing guest!! Morales quit because he didn't want to take a thrashing, he was not even close to being knocked out, and so he has no place in this thread, but thank you very much for your superb contribution.
