Collins is right. At the very least the ref should have let the corner work on the cut at the end of the round.

Khan was on his way to victory, but McCloskey was clearly trying to take the fight into the latter rounds and its a joke that the ref and the doctor acted so hastily and we werent allowed to see if he could come up with something as the fight progressed. I feel sorry for McCloskey as he may never get a shot like this again.

****ing bull****, McCloskey was working his plan and got robbed of his chance, however slim. Morales thought with one eye the other night for the best part of 12 rounds yet they wouldn't give him 30 seconds to see out the round and see his cut-man.

 

Lets hope Ortiz-Berto delivers.
