Hi! What are the top performances (five or so) of these fighters, from a technical view (as opposed to heart).

    Lennox Lewis

    Riddick Bowe

    Vitali Klitschko

    Wladimir Klitschko

    Larry Holmes

    Thanks!

THere are alot of ways to answer that question.. Some of those guys looked awesome in blowout wins, but maybe hadnt reached ther paak yet.. Some never beat any great fighters, but yet were steady and dominant.

The only easy one to answer was Riddick Bowe. vs Holyfield I Ok sorry i didnt pay atttention to the whole thread.. Techinchal??? Lewis -Holyfield I stands out...Holmes had a lot of dominant technichal fights that stand out... Cant find any with Tyson, usually when he won decisions it was causse he couldnt ko the fighter, although Tyson had good boxing skills(defense) he never tried to outbox anyone.

Cant really answer for the Klitchkos even though i respect their dominance.. Im not in awe of their style.. Even with Lewis when he got the best of an aging Holy in the first fight, it wasnt because he was some high tech boxer, he just knew how to go about using his size, reach over the smaller and faded Holy.

You should have put Holyfield on here.. I would have mentioned his 2nd fight with Bowe or , First fight with Tyson he knew the perfect game plan to slay the feared Tyson, when everyone thought he was gonna get killed... Also liked his second fight with Moore, total opposite to the 1st one.. He picked Moore apart and droppe him repeatedly.

Ah Sorry for any confusion, what I am asking is when did they look the best technically. A time frame works too

From a technical standpoint, Bowes destruction of Jorge Luis Gonzalez and Lewis one sided boxing lesson of David Tua have to be considered. It doesnt necessarily have to be the best opposition when a fighter puts on a pretty flawless performance.

I've always thought Lewis' display in the Rahman rematch was nigh on a perfect display of sheer dominance against a guy who had embarrassed him and stole his titles previously.

The KO was pretty special too.

It was a great performance by Lewis and went against the old adage that if you KO a guy once you'll KO him again quicker in the rematch.

I wasn't impressed by Lewis against Tua. Don't think it was one of Lennox's better performances. Over-cautious and underwhelming IMO. Still a good win, but not a vintage performance, merely a safe one.

By technical do you mean low blowing an opponent into submission?

Tyson's best performance was against Pinklon Thomas IMO.
