    Amazing how pacquiao haters jump at every opportunity to make him look average.

    A lot of *****s said Maidana punched harder than pacquiao, others just to sound fair say he punches more or less the same, hahahaha.

    His pitter-patter punches could only mess an eye but could not even trouble a past his prime Morales. :rofl Now that's power for you. :lol:

    Remember some five years ago when Morales was at his prime? :hi:

    maidana stopped a man that stopped a young undefeated champion that pac ignored, a fighter that mayeather was scouting tonight lol that pac didnt want to fighht
    no money in beating ortiz so i guess berto blew his chances at losing to a great for big money ortiz is worthless but still very good jkust not good enough. will pac foight him? lol

    Its not who punches harder. Its how you throw the punch.

    Pacquiao throws his punches crisper, accurate, and with speed. Maidana punches wild, with little accuracy, and is slow.

    That is what makes the difference.

    We have no idea what Maidana is capable of at 147.

    If the guy he beat at 140 just beat the WBC Champion, imagine what kind of monster Maidana would be at 147. :yikes

    Point taken, but let's not get carried away here.

    Morales was hardly "in his prime" when he fought Pacquiao.

    IMHO, Morales last "prime" performance was his rematch with MAB which was (to me) definitely Morales best fight against MAB in the brilliant trilogy.

    Just because a comeback Morales at 140 doesn't get overwhelmed by a slugger with little volume and only decent speed doesn't mean that fighter doesn't hit harder than a flurrying speed demon who was able to overwhelm a younger Morales struggling with his weight. Pacquiao may well hit harder than Maidana but it's silly to assume punching power differences can be determined by comparing the two very different fights so definitively.

    Apparently you missed the point too. If Morales was not in his prime when he fought Pac, what does that make him now in respect to his fight with Maidana???????

    This is the first time I have read anyone saying Maidana had more punching power than pac. I don't think you can determine that with both their fight against Morales. Pac was too fast and Morales no longer had the physical ability to deal with that. Maidana throws hard but wild shots Morales was able to avoid or see coming. Do you suddenly think Maidana is feather fisted?
