ortiz's personality is amazing. aside from manny pacquiao there just aren't boxing champions out there who are that nice, that gracious, and that humble. so happy this kid is world champ. hope he takes on a few contenders before he and pacquiao go at it.

:nono Your the 2nd person ive heard say this... IT was the 1st round in which Ortiz hurt him. Berto never recovered, still fought with heart but that made him flat and not as fast as usual...

Mad respect to both the fighters. Way to go for Ortiz. He fought like a man possessed.

Two thumbs down to all the ****ers who called Ortiz puto and **** , you can all shove it up now.

    I know. :good

The timing worked out perfectly to see both Berto-Ortiz and Lopez-Salido (but horribly to see Berto-Ortiz and Cruz-Honorio).

Funny how people talk.**** about ortiz, this kid has been fighting for a long time, even if he quit after Maidana the vast majority of people.bad mouthing have no right to and have probably.never been in a fight or at least such a grueling one.

victor ortiz really endeared himself to me tonight, the haircut was only a minor blip. he is class out of the ring and better than berto in it.

I disagree, he clearly still packed a huge punch all the way through the fight. I think he was having trouble at a mental level overcoming the aggression and adversity after being shocked by the fact that it was far from a walkover and that Ortiz was man handling him.

The easiest thing to do when the **** hits the fan is to shell up and take punches, the hardest is to keep punching, and he took the easy route.

His legs weren't great but he definitely could have been more active.
