It takes some keyboard warriors some pride-swallowing to accept that Berto isn't even a level below Pacquiao yet. There you go.

Maybe some of them still think Marquez knocks-out Mosley. :rofl

    This needs to be BUMPED.

Where are all the idiot Mayweather fans saying Manny should be fighting young undefeated fighters like Berto?

Berto was overrated from the very beginning, and Ortiz came in as a huge underdog.

This is like if Mccloskey downed Khan in Rd 1 and beat him with a unanimous decision, that how big of an upset this is.

Let's see Ortiz/Cotto. That would rock.

After the 1st round KD's.. I thought it was a blessing in disguise that Berto didn't get the Pac fight.

huh, so ortiz fights his ass off and beats berto via UD, and that somehow makes mosley a better fight because he also is coming off a loss and a horrific showing against Mora...who then goes on to lose to who?

even after today, i would still rather see pac-berto than pac-mosley....now that berto just lost, maybe it will happen

It's good Pac didn't fight Berto. He could have knocked him out in 4 rounds for sure then Pac will be a lot bigger than who he is now - at least to the hardcores.

Whoever suggested Berto should fight Pacquiao probably hadn't seen a lot of Berto fights. I have always said that Berto was not ready for any elite welter, including Shane.

    1st round KD Berto.

Now that would be a Goodbye round if it was againts Pacman. Unless he starts running away.

I'm not a Mayweather fan, but I did say Berto should have been picked over Mosley at the time. Ortiz showed up to win, and he made Berto look like **** so I was wrong.

However, Mosley or Berto will still give us the same outcome: A one-sided beatdown.

I think the inactivity definitely hurt Berto. 1 round in a year is not good for any fighter. I think a rematch would be interesting. Ortiz has more options though right now

I thought he should have fought Bradley or Marquez at 140.
