You guys just don't understand how to interpret what you're watching.

The stoppage came at a bad moment.

It wasn't an EARLY stoppage, though.

    It was a late stoppage.

The time to save Lopez was 10 seconds before the stoppage, when he was getting rocked hard and not answering back.

JuanMa was not out on his feet was still trading blows and in the fight, I don't care how he looked before IB, no excuse for stopping the fight. None whatsoever.

he was still throwing, but i completely agree with this. he was getting hit by every single bomb salido was throwing. no one wants to see a fighter take much more punishment than that.

    Bernstein is insane!

I would have been ready to throw in the towel throughout round 7 and undoubtedly would have let it go in round 8. Lopez took VICIOUS shots, he was clearly out on his feet and fighting on instinct, the man was getting horrible battered. That is a brain damage type of fight: taking endless power punches, but not going down. Either the ref or his corner stops it, or he's in a coma.

Great stoppage, shame on his corner for not stopping it earlier. Lopez's punches didn't hurt Salido at all, meanwhile Salido was dummying him.

It was easily a bullsh4t stoppage. Whoever disagree are a bunch of idiots. Yes Lopez was hurt but yet he still came back and was throwing punches. <<<How can a ref stop a fight while he was still throwing punches just cause Salido hit Lopez with 1 left hook? It's a bs stoppage point blank period.

Bad stoppage, but either way Juanma was looking wreckless and was perhaps bound to lose anyways.

Agreed. I also made a DLH-Quartey reference earlier.

Completely agree... Lopez was being destroyed and was managing to push off on Salido n hit him with a brush off shot... but still Lopez could have possibly come back.. possibly

**** I hate to be a Jackass cause I've never like JuanMa and he certianly looked like he was fighting in quick sand but because the this guy is a known blood cheat and I can't be happy for him....more then that I half of me wonders if he was taking something here. These guys for me are stained for life once they get caught on this ****.
