Next time, make the fight when it should be made. Stop ****ing with the fans. A superfight has lost its lustre, you are to blame. That is all. (And well done to Orlando Salido!)
6th round onwards, that was exactly what i was thinking. Same **** happened with Abraham-Pavlik, wait long enough and someone will get their ass beat and all demand for the fight will be lost:-(.(lookin right at you pacweather...)
How Bob Arum couldn't see it happening is beyond me. Both Gamboa and Lopez have been hurt/dropped by fighters on their way up. They are both clearly at or very very near their peak, Lopez-Salido wasn't going to increase demand for the fight that much was it!? Fact is Bob Arum wanted us to be drooling, gagging, desperate to see it. Well he deserves this hit. Its too bad for JuanMa and Gamboa, they were the pawns used in Arum's game and they may have lost out on a lot of money themselves because of it.
Definitely. But even with Arum's cockblocking we have been treated to some sensational fights this year.
+1000 Greedy ass ***** is only interested in lining his pockets and milking his cash cows til they're shriveled.
I have been saying this since Juanma looked GOD AWFUL vs Penalosa and Matagwa. He gets into these Slug-Fest with lesser Opponents. And I just knew that this All-Out Brawl style cause him to lose and make a fight with Gamboa LESS-ATTRACTIVE. I have been saying it, Posting about it and Making Threads about this for the pass 16 months.
turns out the fans were wrong to think that JuanMa vs Gamboa was some kind of super fight when in fact Salido showed he is better than JuanMa tonight. I see no reason to be pissed at Arum for not feeding us an overhyped matchup. He gave us Gamboa vs Salido and JuanMa vs Salido, which in retrospect are two solid fights.
he blocked penalosa's left with his face he was just lucky penalosa's power didnt carry i was never really sold on lopez
