All those that booed him are the ones that will pay to watch if he fights again.

Here are the people that cheer for manny.

They can't afford to watch his PPV.

Booing fans > cheering fans when it comes to PPV.

Yah next time he'll be having some nightmare and need to run a couple of mile to shake it off.

    Yep, this is correct.

It's all about "heat." Doesn't matter if it's positive heat (cheering) or negative heat (booing). You just dont want people not to care.

Now, I'm not saying it's fun to get booed, but at least people care.

What was the crowd chanting, exactly? From the TS post, it seems like there were two chants: "Manny" and "Floyd-Manny" or whatever. Is this right?

    LOL!

Was it just one chant here, or was there also just a chant of "Manny!"?

Not really. PPV just a lot inexpensive here in the Philippines.

It's free on terrestrial TV. Delayed by a few hours + lots of ads.

Free on local radio, blow by blow, live.

On local PPV cinemas, around 10 to 15 US dollars.

Sports bars, around that amount too, breakfast/brunch included.

haha, Pacmania running rampant from the west coast to the east coast. Guess they didn't take too kindly to Floyd trying to dictate to them who they should support.

    I posted elsewhere about this.
The crowd started booing Floyd BOTH times HBO showed him.

I cant recall a crowd booing a NON COMBATANT fighter like that before.

i could tell it made floyd uncomfortable to get booed. he played it off real smooth in the first few seconds that the camera panned to him. but after it stayed on him, he became real self conscious. he tried putting his arm up on the chair to look cool and unbothered. i almost expected his face to start twitching from anxiety the way some people do.
