I went and the show was an absolute shower of shite. Watson- Purdy was the only decent fight there was about 30 mins between each fight then they stuck on 3 fillers after the main even when everyone had gone- all three fairly entertaining fights that no-one saw. I only went because my mate was fighting I will never attend or pay for a Khan fight again unless my mate is on the bill. ****ing shite. Worst show i've ever been to at the men
yep it was watson then munroe then the khan fight. if i paid for it i would of been pissed off but i learnt my lesson after haye vs harrison i didnt want that feeling off being ripped off again.
please dont take this as a racist remark because its not meant, But the khan family taking a drop in money for the british fans, Do me a favour!! the british fights are brilliant to attend though.
I can't believe some people payed for this fight. People need to start proving a point and not paying for crap fights with crap undercards and then they'll soon stop charging for them.
Spot on! if they keep feeding us **** and people are paying for it then they will carry on! If people bought this crap last night do not moan when you are getting asked to pay to watch sub standard bills, you only have yourselves to blame I have no sympathy!!!
why can't Sky or whoever give us a dedicated boxing channel where we can view HBO and Showtime fights each week? **** I would have paid for that HBO card last week, it isn't often I can sit through a full 3 hour session. If you take that guff last night, the Munroe fight was complete pants and well the Khan farce as been covered.
We're showing it free to view all this week at 8pm on ch480 or as a vod online if you bought the ppv to watch online
Imagine if you went to a cinema marathon and they announced 3 movies and then didnt show one, telling you to come back next week. Consider that. In that scenario people would rightfully demand some money back because what they were told they were buying was the same. Yet its a non runnner here. We love the sport. We love follow it and are suckers for paying for it, but how would this seem to a casual follower? A bad taste in the mouth and a feeling that you wouldnt pay again. Being at the MEN, as an 'event', as Brown Bomber says earlier, was total dog****
Same here mate, I totally agree with everything you say. The whole show was a **** take of epic proportions. PS. Did you fork out a tenner for one of those fight programmes:think
