    Yes!!!

I've been predicting heavy falls for JuanMa (too slow no defence) and Berto (just average) for a while....didn't think they'd happen tonight though!!!

Oh ffs!!! The one night I don't stay up and we get a FOTY candidate and a massive upset :fire

Reading through your lots posts for Ortiz-Berto it sounds great. I'm back on the Ortiz Express :happy

Gutter for JuanMa :-(, hopefully he can come back from this :bbb

Yeah Ish u gotta watch Berto - Ortiz. The first 8 rounds were brilliant, FOTY so far. And the JuanMa fight was also a blinder.

I felt Ortiz might get him out of there early doors (and he almost did) but this fight showed good/bad things about both men (confirmed a lot of bad things about Berto)

The right hand Berto took Prtoz down with was sweet. Ortiz then had no worries finding Berto with a left at the end of the round, Manny shouts 'Oh MY GOD' just as he did brilliantly at the end of Toney-Jirov.

Amazing Lopez Vs Pendleton-esque brawl this. Looked like Floyd wasn't enjoying it, reckon he'll be lining up Ortiz as his next opponent? :yep

    Floyd would batter him

Much more likely is Ortiz getting a couple of soft touches (not too soft, it is GBP, but 'Magic' Matt could be slaughtered) and them hoping Khan beats Bradley. Although if Bradley wins I hope he'd move up and fight Ortiz as well.

Berto, as I (and a few others) have said manytkmes, is nothing special at all. But Ortiz showed he has made improvements, fought well down the stretch, kept trying hard and looked rejuvenated at 147.

Open to the right hand, can be shook, but a bloody exciting fighter who has essentially made amends for the Maidana fight IMO. I'd bargain that it'd take Pacs pressure and volume to provoke a capitulation like that at Welter.

Fair play to Ortiz, Berto, Salido and JuanMa (ain't watched that yet) all warriors :deal :bbb :happy

as u all know ive never fdoubted Ortiz:yep

i think the Lopez fight could of gone on, he was hurt but fighting back, gfair enough he might of got sparked with just 1 more big punch but IMO should of waited for the punch top happen, it was a world title fight

Fair play to both Salido and Ortiz. The latter looked fantastic last night, and without them two shots Berto landed to put him down, he would have won almost every round. The boy proved he can not only take a shot, bit even when we was badly hurt (2nd KD) his heart didn't give in.

Salido, after losing probably the first 3 rounds, started to get to JuanMa who insisted on trading back when hurt. He was down hard in the 5th and done well to get through. I still think the stoppage was a little premature as he wasn't defenceless and was throwing back, but he did get caught flush.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch in either of em. I'd pick JuanMa to win next time. Without all the worries about his divorce and that, his head should be right. Ortiz would probably beat Berto again unless he can fond another peach of a shot like he did in the 6th. Would prefer Berto to drop down to 140 tho.

After watching how strong and impressive Ortiz was last night, am I the only one who thinks he takes Khan with relative ease if they ever fought?

Khan doesnt have the power to fend him off, nor the discipline to fight the perfect game plan, I think its pretty straight fwd actually.

Yeah my thought exactly LP. JuanMa was the champ and should I've been allowed to go on. He was more hurt in the 5th after he was knocked down. Looking back, it wasn't too bad of a stoppage, but it definately could, and probably should, have gone on

Berto vs Ortiz seemed like a good fight... I just watched the first 2 rounds.

Khan would have most likely won without the stoppage, he won every round.
