PRIME Vitali vs PRIME Tyson ? WHO Wins?

it's a no-brainer for me. Tyson all the way.

 

Tyson no doubt, Vitali is overrated.

 

i dont think Vital has the necessary timing and handspeed to deal with a prime Tyson. If Tyson gets inside ( and he will ) Vital gets obliterated. If Vitali can TIME Tyson which is very, very difficult then he can easily dominate him on the outside. Vitali has a STUPID LONG reach. But I think a Kevin Rooney Tyson was impossible to time. Tyson by KTFO.

 

Freddie Roach only ever trained Tyson when he was a faded fighter. Tyson was shot against Lewis and tottally shot against McBride, he was winning against McBride and retired on his stool as well, he didn't get "KO'd.
Tyson beat a lot of big dudes like Bruno, who has a longer reach than Vitali who is at least 6"4 according to Steve Wraith (a bloke I know who knows him) I'll see for my self when I meet him. He was the only guy to KO Holmes who was also a big bloke. I've met Mike Tyson and had a chat with him. He's bigger than 5"10, I'd say 6"0 is about right. Thing is as well is that Bruno did as well over six rounds against a prime Lewis as Vit did against a fading one. This is a close fight but I think Tyson takes it as he's proven himself against better opponents.
Your the Silencers alt anyway imo and only seem to support white fighters so I don't take you seriously.

 

You have also got to look at how Vitali does against smaller faster fighters. He struggled with Sosnowski who is just a gatekeeper in a weak era imo and he also struggled with Byrd. He lost more rounds than the score card suggests against Byrd. I know Tyson would be coming to fight Vitali unlike those too but he is also harder to hit than those two imo and if he managed to catch Vitali with the type of shots Byrd did (who stunned Vit a little at one point imo) then he would probably hurt him.

 

I like both fighters. Prime Tyson was much more exciting to watch than Vitali, who may still be in his prime. There is no doubt his commitment to stay in shape is unwaivering. Even after several years off he came back and has won many fights in a row. He was off longer than Tyson was in prison, Tyson was always weak between the ears, he needed better management and after Cus died so did Tysons career pretty shortly afterwards. Thats fine to me, if he didn't want to put in the work anymore he didn't. He was still very exciting for that short time he was on top. Vitali to me is exciting to watch as well, but not nearly as explosive. He didn't get ripped a new one like I keep reading against Lewis, unless its meant as new eye. He was clearly winning the fight against Lewis, abeit the fight was close and both men were very tired, but I think Lewis was so tired he was close to out, but its a win for Lewis fair and square, the punch he threw at the beginning of round 3 started the cut and a good right shortly after really got it going. That is where Vitalis style kills him with men his size, he moves straight back and if a HW his size follows him with a straight right that is trouble as evidenced by Lewis doing that and opening that cut. To me these guys are both great fighters, a 21 year old Tyson and post Byrd Klitchko would be a helluva fight and I think we would have all loved to see it. To me its a pick em fight, could even be a draw, lots of holding I would say and some explosive exchanges early, both guys tiring, Tyson from the heavy weight being draped on him and Vitali from constantly moving from harm. Split decision pick em, or Tyson early ko, or vitali late. HEHE, we will never know.

I'd agree I don't think Vitali would crush Tyson, but I def don't think Tyson would crush Vitali whatsoever. Tyson always had problems with big, tall guys who fought intelligently with their height, weight, and reach advantages. Vitali would fight smart (and the granite chin would be needed still) and I still think he'd beat Tyson. Tyson always had problems with fighters who showed no fear. Obviously in heavyweight fights one punch can change everything so who knows who would truly win. But if nobody has ever knocked Vitali out, why would Tyson be the one who would not only knock him out but "destroy" him.......I just think Vitali would be too much for him.

 

Tyson was the softest HW that ever lived. Breathe on him and he folds like a cheap suit. Nothing but cans to build him up.

The difference is Tyson gets the job done in devastating fashion...despite being much smaller.
