The thing to do is for everyone to totally ignore this troll...don't feed the trolls and they'll go away.
If I were Bowes manager, then Liston is the last fighter in the world I would put him in the ring with!
Probably your best thought out and rationalized contribution to this boxing forum. Bert Sugar would be proud. Keep improving.
I never thought much of Bowe, I mean Big boy, I like him as a light-heavy when he won the golden gloves in NY but he just got lazier and Lazier and bigger and bigger and got hit an awful lot. Bowe could take a shot but he got hit with too many of them and against Sonny this may be a big problem....Bowe is not without his moments but I think I go with Sonny by a late stop or a RSC by 10
Lol you know I do know everything about boxing based on my screen name. Rocky Marciano was great fighter only if you are white. And if you think Sonny Liston was great because he beat Floyd Patterson then you clearly do not know a thing about boxing. Bowe was around 6'5 230 in his prime and Liston was 6'0 210. Liston's best win was over the 160 pound Patterson. Bowe has wins over steriod addicted 210 pound Holyfield. Much more impressive. As I said Liston gets knocked on his butt and quits like he always did when he was stood up too.
:rofl:roflatsch Cleveland Williams was fragile & had a glass jaw, while Bowe was durable like a tank & had a solid chin, plus he's in another dimension for H2H ability. Aren't you the same silly guy who picked young Foreman to KO Holyfield early, because of how he disposed of the fragile Norton who freezes from big punches?
Sometimes one fighter just has another's number. Remember, no one considered Holyfield that good back when Bowe came up. He was considered an over-achiever a place-holder. Holyfield at his best was very game and an action fighter. However, he was also inconsistent, almost getting taken out versus Cooper, getting beat by a very mediocre heavy in Moorer...
