I think making 140 is becoming hard for Khan who I feel now is closer to a 147 fighter's weight class.

I think his age, frame, size is perfect for 147, and a great first fight at 147 (barring be beat Bradley at 140) would be Ortiz at 147 the new WBC Champion.

Khan could become a unified 140 Champion and a 2 weight World Champion in 2 fights.

These next 2 fight could put Khan right in the top 7 P4P list, and would be also great fights for the fans to see.

Are the 7lbs going to correct his shocking balance and punching form?

Thing is Flea he may grow some more with those extra 7lbs and add a few inches to his frame and stature and we both know ''inches win fights'' :deal

I can't see it personally. I think with the competition at at 147 he would struggle to achieve what he could do at 140

But Mand', the door swings both ways, he would be fighting guys closer to his size. ;-)

I'm surprised with Darnis insistence on 'inches winning fights' that a) he thinks a move up is good for Khans potential of winning big fights b) doesn't have Ron Jeremy near the top of his P4P list :deal

No but it might improve his stamina, power, speed, focus, all things relating in being tight at the weight.

Well in fact it's his foot positioning that is directly attributing to his lack of power. He's draining his stamina by throwing inaccurate, wild flurries that miss. And he'll be in with bigger guys and bigger punchers. Not that he utilises his size advantages at all anyway.

All things relating to lack of ability.
