HOPEFULLY!!! He faces Marquez in the summer and we get Gamboa late 2011 and he makes it a big fight.

 

I mean, hindsight is 20/20, but I was thinking the exact same thing. Gamboa looks like a beast and Lopez looks like he just walked in off of Sesame Street.

 

180-190 on a 5'5" guy is borderline obese. No way this is true.

 

But when has Arum ever lied?

Highly, highly doubt 180 or 190. I don't know, maybe 162-ish? Unbelievable one can actually cut that amount of weight in a matter of two months.

 

I'm sure he was overweight,, but 180 to 190, that's rather absurd. Although it does make sense for him not being there mentally in the fight with him going through a divorce. But no matter he take the chance fighting like that and he came up short.

 

Yeah, pretty much impossible to cut that much, he would have looked really really obese at that height, Hamed and Hatton style. Ludicrous claims. Maybe he was 150, even that is pushing the limits of credibility. Arum is a moron consistently.

 

By the way, Arum also said that Juanma's leaky defense that had been on display in past fights in no way was the cause of him losing this fight.
