Walking in throwing wild punches without moving your head, boy Juanma you ain't Mayorga.

That explains why Mtagwa gave JuanMa hell and Gamboa decapitated him in 2, beat Salido in a tough UD decision and Salido destroyed JuanMa in 8.

I noticed Juanma couldn't handle pressure via peek-a-boo guard of Salido and JuanMa not moving his head and taking punches like he is as tough as Mayorga sealed the deal for him.

Bring on Gamboa vs Donaire!! :bbb

Donaire would kill him. Gotta make it at least competitive

Donaire's timing and defense is way way better than JuanMa's not even close. But this won't be easy since Gamboa has legit speed and power. This fight is probably 50/50 or 60/40 in favor of Donaire.

    unfair

gamboa is far smaller, less reach than donaire, who is 1 weight class above him.

    donaire vs tournament winner

    gamboa vs salido II

    is both good for me

Both men have plenty of business to keep them occupied in the current landscape of their respected divisions.

In a year or 2, if Gamboa can still make the weight, then perhaps it would be more of a realistic matchup.

Gamboa throws sloppy combinations, squares way to much to throw his right, and only has any real power in his left hook that he has so much trouble controlling. Donaire is a complete package.

First of all, soon Gamboa will be at 130lbs. Donaire is still at 118lbs !!! But if they ever faced, Gamboa will blow him away !!!

Not right now. In a couple of years when both are more popular than ever and if they keep winning then they could meet for a super fight.

Donaire is fighting at 118, he hasnt make any statement yet at 122, and people talking about him already beating Gamboa at 126?
i recognize Donaire talent but make it one step at the time...gamboa is not little Montiel

I don't even want to know what compelled u to write such a stupid rebutal, but if you bother checking previous posts of mine, you know why I think he is overrated. Just cause JuanMa lost, doesn't change the fact that Gamboa has many flaws in his game and when he steps up in class, they are going to be there for the rest of u folks to see.
