Where exactly should he step up in class if beating Salido who just knocked The Ring's no9 P4P-er and no1 FW out is not good enough?

These two guys are three weight classes apart. Can we not just enjoy watching talented guys against their own division?

Would u have ever put Salido in the same class with Rafael Marquez? Not just that, think of the factors involved. Styles do make fights, and I don't expect Gamboa to stay at 126 much longer. There will be better challenges as he goes to 130.

I'll stop hating when he beats somebody like a John or a Donaire.

who you considered a step up for gamboa at fw? john doesn't want to fight outside his home and donaire is not a fw

And when he beats both you will come here with excuses and say that he needs to fight the K brothers to step up, etc. I know your kind.

If you rate Marquez over Salido at 126 it's a sign you should shave your head and join a Buddhist community. Or MMA.

Actually I will take him off my hype jobs list. If he can improve accordingly, than I have no reason to put him down.

Remember his days at 126 are counted. There are better fights and fighters for him at 130+.

Given that Donaire is a special talent and looking at Manny Pacquiao im willing to sit on the fence here with this fight .

What id really like to say is that Gamboa would destroy him , because thats the logical outcome , reading through some of the drivvel thats on here about Donaire being bigger , this is a mis match , etc etc etc is a load of shite !!!!! :barf

Gamboa would be the heavy heavy favourite in this fight , lets see Doniare consolidate @BW before throwing him in with a monster like Gamboa @FW :deal

    Really who with ??? :huh

The 130 lb division isn currently topped by Ricky Burns  , its a load of shite

Gamboa's big fights are at FW or below (speaking in terms of people like Donaire , Vazquez Jr , Pongsaklek Wonjongkam coming up to fight him) and ofcourse Chris John .

Above 130 Gamboa may be in trouble !!!!
