Juanma's speech already slurring?

Watching the fight again, I got to watch the post fight interviews. I'm Cuban, obviously a native Spanish speaker, Cuban accent is not very different from Puerto Rican's, but I had a hard time understanding what Juanma said at times during the post fight interview.

I have no frame of reference though, does he usually speak like that? I hope he's not already slurring.

7:17 in the next video is an example.

That's what happens when you have little defense and head movement, and then acting like a moron and taking punches and pounding your gloves together like you are Mayorga.

JuanMa is a stupid man for absorbing punches and not using any defense.

He has taken a lot of punches lately, but he's only 27. It would be very sad if he's already showing slurred speech. I'm all for my boy Gamboa and his fight vs. López, but I wouldn't like to see López hurt or sick anyway.

i have a feeling it had something to do with using his face to block salido's punches.

I could understand him quite clearly in Gamboa vs Solís post fight interview. Yesterday got me thinking.

17 shots in the last 15 seconds of the fight.. and they wanted him to continue.

His people don't care about his health. The Referee saved Juanma from himself because unlike his cowardly compatriots he wasn't kneeling for nobody and went out like a warrior.

He sounds a little different, but I think it's because he was very tired and dissapointed.

Hope you are right. The point is he must do something to avoid these wars or he'll have a short career.

He has a slight lisp, but nothing major.

He's no Toney or Holy, for sure. But if he keeps fighting he will be. Too late for him to develop any defense at this point I think.
