i think so, khan is an outside fighter thats why he looked **** with mccloskey doing everything he can to make khan miss.

bradley likes to fight up close, i think he would rough mccloskey up with his headbutts and overhand rights on the way to either a stoppage or ud.

I don't particularly care if Khan beat Kotelnik on points wider than Alexander did, Alexander still posed Bradley 10 times more problems then McCloskey was ever going to so a comparison between the two fights is unfair

Mitchell and Vasquez exposed Prescott (who beat Khan in one round). Would they be 'the man' against Khan? Or would Khans inches give him the advantage?

Its one of those thing, the prize is on the line you can see it (a Bradley fight in the summer) your Boss is ringside you want to impress, the guy you are fighting is akward and happy to make you miss and look bad.

Khan did seem rushed at times, he needed to keep a cool head, seem too tense.

No but vs Bradley 5'6 the inches will count, Khan 5'10 is going to beat Bradley up with the left hand.

Bradley likes to get close and throw hooks. Amir is a straight shooter who has got the speed and reach advantage-this alone will trouble Bradley. Bradley is only gonna have one gameplan and thats to pressure Amir.

Khan's sense of range in terrible. If that & his jab was better I'd give him a better chance of working from the outside with his jab. He'll just rush in with his usual McFlurries with Bradley slightly out of range & Tim will use his feet & head movement, get inside nice and easily and beat him up on the inside where Khan can't fight at all. Expect a lot of uppercuts to land as well. Whether he stops him or not is another matter but master Roach pulling him out after about 8 or 9 wouldn't shock me at all

He couldn't keep Maidana at range but he will be able to keep Bradley? :think

Khan is going to be the fighter with the simple gameplan. Bradley is the much more adaptable fighter of the two.

No Khan has a good jab, his last two fights have been vs Maidana a puncher pressure fighter who dont really care about jabs or anything as long as he can land his shots, McCloskey who did nothing apart from trying to make Khan miss.

Make no mistake the key to beating Bradley a shorter fighter the long jab will be the key and Roach will know this aswell, Khan will have his jab working vs Bradley.

Yep, inches matter when they're used ruthlessly with a firm grasp of how to control an opponent with ring generalship. It's like being a matador. The Klitschko's do it superbly of course.

Khan is still wooly and green looking. He gives up his advantages with poor footwork, his feet looked like they were tied together when he waded into mid range. What use is being 5'10 when you're running in and flurrying? You're giving a guy like Tim Bradley a massive helping hand by doing that. But at the same time you can't run and flurry either. Without substance Bradley is going to stalk him all night and consume his energy. Khan has to find a way of controlling distance and punching with substance that he's yet to demonstrate. I don't think Amir Khan has put together in a single performance everything that he needs for me to make him a favourite over Bradley. He's done things sporadically, but never over a long period.

Actually, Bradley can do a lot with Khan. He outboxed the taller Lamont Peterson by using his legs and jab. Now, Khan might have faster hands than Peterson, but I think Peterson's a much better-skilled fighter. He turns his shots over properly too.

    Timmy can:

    * slip Khan's jab and bring in the overhand right or the left hook to the body
    * Wait for Khan to flurry, move into range and take advantage of his poor balance to get his shots off in-close
    * step around Khan and stop him from getting position to punch
    * step back and let Khan over-extend before stepping to the side and dropping the right hand.

Khan really has one approach: use flurries to keep the opponent busy and then back off to reset. Khan can't even identify opportunities - he hurt Maidana to the body in the first and barely went back there. Sloppy.

Yeah maybe, I still don't think we would have been sitting here after 6 rounds of Bradley and McCloskey from last night thinking "Bradley looks very good"

Maidana charges in like a bull with no regard at what is coming back at him, of course its ****ing difficult to keep him at range. I really don't get the argument of "If he couldn't keep Maidana at range how will he keep Bradley at range?" Bradley mixes it up and uses educated pressure at a slower pace rather than the pressure Maidana brings.

Maidana was the perfect opportunity to show off his 'great jab' against a pretty one-dimensional fighter. He completely neglected it and when he used it, it was sloppy. Bradley might be a shorter fighter but he's not going to stand there and eat jabs all night like Paulie or Kotelnik did. There will be far too much head movement & footwork for Khan to deal with
