Brain damage, that would happen. Gamboa is the LAST fighter Rafael Marquez should meet at this point, he would get HURT and going out on his shield doesn't worth it. He has a family to take care of and needs brain cells to do so.

I know but he again is a stand out fighter , if he is looking at his options above his current weight class then Gamboa could / should be a potential super fight

Gamboa is about 6 cms taller and has about 5 cms more reach than Pongsaklek. He's just bigger and stronger, it wouldn't be wise for Pongsaklek to go up. Let alone the weight difference.

Thats opinion based , and my opinion is at some stage it would be a credible and intruiging fight

Edit ; completley different scenario i know but Hasegawa is now considered a main player @FW after being KO'd down @BW , at the lower weight classes its less about size (more often than not) and more about ability , does Pongsaklek posess the ability to fight Gamboa , potentially for me yes

He would be better off moving up to 118lbs, which is another stacked division. 126lbs is too big for Pong.

what is it with fans wanting their boxers to fight guys 2 weight classes lower than them, the same **** is happening with martinez. can we freaking wait for donaire to come up in weight first, gonna be a few years at that.

You lost all credability by putting Gamboa is the best boxer who ever lived. As much as I'd like to give u the title of the biggest idiot who ever lived, I'm sure ur just somewhere in the middle of the bunch. Take a hike Gamboa cheerleader.
