Mayweather would beat Ortiz pretty handily.

9-5/10-2 Type Decision for Floyd most likely.

I don't remember which knockdown it was, but there was one where Berto stepped back a bit to make Victor miss and then counter with his own right.

Victor doesn't have a jab either, and $ has one of the best in the business of boxing.

Yeah, I can see Floyd dropping him with a pull counter.

    Mayweather by Brutal decision/late TKO.

Mayweather, But Ortiz would put on a better fight then Marquez and old Mosley did that's for sure.

Good fight and I think Ortiz wins a couple of rounds, but he's a front runner. No matter what, Do not get tired against Mayweather. As soon as you do, an ass whooping is following. Ortiz is a perfect tune-up for Pacquiao though because of his stance, power, speed and work rate he showed early in the fight.

Floyd will break him down though in the end and when he starts to gas, Mayweather will break dat ass :good

Mayweather wins. The only question would be if Ortiz fought with the stamina and determination he did last night, could he make it close...

mayweather by decision. Ortiz can take a big shot. Plus he is physically strong. Victor will give pac and floyd a hard time but i don't think he would win though.

shut-out....Ortiz doesn't close the gap the correct way and on top of that im not sure he is ready for that type of chess match....in fact he isnt ready for that type of chess match.

Don't think he would make it close even if he fought like he did last night. Ortiz is a puncher. Floyd is a boxer. Boxer > puncher in the rock paper scissors game

i don't think floyd should take ortiz for a tune up.... thats the last thing an elite fighter needs to do coming off a 2 years laid off with someone who can bang

With how active Floyd likes to be, he has to fight someone hot.

[DM][/DM]Mayweather, and probably by KO. Ortiz is too easy to hurt to go the distance ....and he's strong and technically sound, but he doesn't fight smart.

it would be a clear UD win for floyd. ortiz just too open and mayweather will counter him all night long!
