Possible he's been through hell lately. Dropped hard and rocked several times by Conception in the span of 5 minutes, took and ABSURD number of flush head shots against Mtagwa and Salido. I don't think people realize how much damage it does to the human brain when a guy gets his bobbled repeatedly. Against those two and several times against Marquez, Lopez was getting his head VIOLENTLY thrashed back on its axis almost constantly. Hell, even stephen luevano stephened Lopez' knees a few times.

I mean its heroic the way he fights but when you look at Wilfred Benitez or Bobby Chacon and then you watch Lopez taking dozens of devastating head shots, its almost sickening. Add to that the fact he's been forced to dehydrate badly to struggle to make weight and that could add to the neurological damage.

Juanma should retire, he is just trying to be a clone of Tito. Damn economy JUanma didn't have enough money to pay attention to his trainer, then again what trainer.

No, he was hurt with Mtagwa, but he was also very tired, and so was Mtagwa. But he wasn't that tired vs Salido, and he was out on his feet. Plus Salido was fresh, and a more powerful puncher than Mtagwa.

After slurring his speech like that, even 5 min after the fight, do you not think it was a good stoppage? He was spared some seriously damaging punches.
