get ta ****! Paul Daley's fighting this weekend. I'm not a major fan of MMA but this guys class and he like a MMA version of Froch. Not as witty but funny and straight talker. Massive Puncher in the game. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FsBZKetbRoA[/ame]
Not a fan then TFFP?. I just like the way he times his left hook and punches in general compared to the rest in the sport who mostly swing for fences.
I just don't think they take punches too well in general They aren't that well conditioned because, they're used to getting choked out and stuff. Or just kicked and sparked quick. They're not that well conditioned to taking punches on a regular basis, or it seems that way to me, as most of them have bad technique too. Compared to a boxer who will spar and get hit A LOT. Punch resistance is definitely built up to a certain degree, you wouldn't ever get a random guy off the street with a chin like Tua naturally.
I agree with you. I have noticed they gas terribly. There was a fight the other week and within 3 mins i knew the young contender would win the fight because the champion looked spent for energy and that's just the first round. I'm not a major fan but i do watch it....always preferred Bushido as a kid that was class. MMA in general i'm happy to watch it but Boxing every day over it. UFC culture kinda puts me off it.
TFFP, they're also wearing 4 oz gloves :deal Daley is a banger. And there are many instances of 'iron chins' in MMA :good
Ive got Mares by UD in this. I think King Kong was made to look slightly better than he is (it was a great perfeormance though) by Perez as Perez seemed to be slightly on the downside (due to his recent tough fights) in that fight. Vic vs Perez will be interesing as i would pick Perez normally but i think he's maybe on the slide so i'm going with Vic!
Very well said :yep God bless the lower weight classes, it's the only thing that keeps boxing fans sane.
After all the great fights we've had this month this card could top it all off. And it's live on Premier!
Dont see how Vic beats Yohnny. Vic as blown us down the strech in both his fights at bantam. Yohnny is a HUGE Bantamweight I just see him being for too much man for the 1dimsensional Vic
Vic can be one-dimensional when he turns up just looking to score the knockout but he's awkward and presents weird angles and stuff. He could make it a bit difficult for Perez but yeah, I expect the Colombian to win. And then if Mares wins we can see Perez-Mares II :yep
I think Perez will hammer Vic, Agbeko fought a perfect fight against Perez the second time and Vic won't be able to replicate that. Should be an immense couple of fights though, great idea from Showtime to put this together. Will round off a spectacular months boxing.
