I worry for Rhodes

    I`m a bit worried for Ryan Rhodes when he takes on Canelo in the states. I`m not worried that Canelo will destroy Rhodes more that Golden Boy will screw with the fight as they did the Khan McCloskey fight.

    Theres no way that that cut McCloskey had was any trouble, yet the likes of Morales was allowed to fight with one eye and Roy Jones had a terrible cut over his left eye but both were allowed to fight to the end and theres loads more worse cuts to mention. That Doc jumped in that ring like it was his role of destiny to stop the fight, didnt even let the corner try and close it, not that it was severe, pathetic.

    I just hope Golden Boy dont go trying to look for excuses in the Rhodes fight so as to protect their special project. :bart

    WTF does GBP have to do with a fight referee and ringside physician calling off a fight ??!!! :huh

    The McCloskey screw job was nothing to do with GBP and it will be no different to any other fighter going abroard.

    Rhodes and Coldwell will know he needs a KO but they won't be using nieve tactics like McCloskey did to get it.

    At 154, Rhodes will put a pounding on him and send his ass back down to 147, while finally climbing the peak he should have back in the day alongside Naz.

    Thats what i`m hoping , just read so many articles concerning golden boy protecting their fighters ive become a bit weary now

    over in the states and mexico they don't seem to stop the fights unless the cuts are really bad and the fighter can't see.

    because he wont get a fair decision.

    the difference between McCloskey and Rhodes is Rhodes has a defence that actually invovled slipping shots and countering.

    1 - the fight isnt in the states, its in mexico
    2 - once in the ring GBP cant do a thing
    3 - GBP had nothing to do with Khan - Dudey
    4 - Rhodes is gonna knock his arse out anyway :deal :deal :deal
