Should there be an asterix on Khan's record?

Did no one see Khan blinking like his contacts fell out in rd3? The uppercut by the corner post? The fact that the early storm was weathered and it was time to fight?

I agree Khan was having a strong sixth but it was by far his best round. The other rounds he shaded but where was his 'gone in three/four' prediction? Roach's one round? Why were his gloves IMMEDIATELY ripped off?

For the record I still don't think Paul would have knocked him out, but I would have loved to see him try as the fight went on. Ye, Khan's conditioned but if theat cut does not happen, does anyone think Khan gets the KO?

Did you see McCloskey get get hurt in the 6th round?

I don't think Khan/Roach expected McCloskey to be completely focused on evasion

There is a point here. How can this fighter can by carried until such time as the fight will no longer be considered a No Contest but the McCloskey fight immediately stopped.

That fight carried on longer because Barrera was proven at the world stage and because it was a must win fight for Khan. Dont compare the great MAB to McCloskey.

I think that was the only punch McCloskey threw the whole fight. :rofl

I'm not even a Khan fan but he was battering MAB and would have won easily regardless. That's because MAB was shot to bits, which is exactly why Warren hand picked him to make Khan look good against a name.

I said before the fight that it would be easy for Khan and it was from the moment the bell rang.

I haven't seen the McCloskey fight but from everything I've heard he did **** all other than make Khan miss a few and Khans best rounds were the two preceding the stoppage so it doesn't sound like Khan got lucky.

Imagine if it were the other way round and Khan that had lost the first 6 rounds, got hurt in the 6th and was the one who got cut..would you all be sprouting the same bull**** about it being unfair and how Khans master plan to tire out McCloskey and take him out late was just coming into effect?

    I think not:deal

Anyone who thinks it was "all part of the game plan" for McCloskey are fooling themselves. Regardless, it was a joke that the fight got called off.

Exactly! I mean, it's rediculous that some fans think it was his plan. He was starting to get hit more.

Hear, Hear! There's been a dearth of quality posts recently from irish posters regarding the Khan-McCloskey fiasco.

So slap, if Khan should have an asterisk beside those wins, should Bernard Dunne have one beside his win over Faccio?
