If Mayweather fancied it he'd have fought Pacquiao by now.

But it's too much of a risk, Pacquiao presents certain problems for Floyd that he's been reluctant to face - speed, power, awkwardness. He's in his prime, he's the same size - for starters.

All this talk of drug testing, purse splits, getting rid of Arum first - all bollocks. Floyd doesn't set the rules, the fight should take place at the best venue and Floyd should get rid of his groupies too if he's that bothered.

The man is a coward, a pretender and a fraud - people should just ignore him instead of dreaming that he might do the right thing for a change. He's never done it before!

a better fight would be Pac - Ortiz at 147. JMM is high risk/low reward IMO. He obviously has problems with him (first two fights) so he could easily be beaten given Marquez's recent form against Kats. If he beats him, it'll be 'ooh the fight should have happened years ago' or 'JMM isnt any good at the weight'.

Ortiz - Pac would be a war.

Nah, I lost interest in his career after he went missing after beating Mosley.

There's a limit how you can drag a fight along, this isn't Hagler/Leonard where one guy had annihilated every worthy contender and was signing to fight his most bitter adversary...... it's a phenomenon who has pissed all over Mayweather's entire career in about two and a half years vs the delusional numpty with his small army of fanboys.

There's lots of options out there for Pac, Marquez 3, Bradley, perhaps even Ortiz down the line. He doesn't need Mayweather at all.

Definitely not, but theres only so long you can keep giving somebody a chance before you realise they're taking the p!ss. Its obvious Floyd knows Pac would give him trouble or else he would've fought him by now (yes you can say the OSDT was an issue, but if Floyd was as confident as his persona suggests, he wouldn't have needed to ask for the tests in the first place).

Its his inactivity whats turned alot of fans off him (along with other things mentioned earlier) so now people are focusing on fighters who actually want to fight 2-3 x a year and are planning for the future as opposed to still talking about a fight that should've happened 2 years ago.

Same as BB. The guy is skilled but I'm just not interested anymore because of his activity level for the last 3 years or so.

Cant see Money ever fighting again. Whats the story with the court case when is due in court. I cant see him evening thinking about boxing until thats all sorted out. So sadly I think Money is finished with boxing for the time being.

I would agree until last week or so when it was annouced he owes something like $20 million to the US tax man. Thats why he'll fight again. If he gets off with the court case that is.

Would probably be a similar fight to Hatton v Mayweather.

    VERY well said mate! :D

The Floyd/Pac fight has gone on for FAR too long now.

    It'll never happen....

Agreed about what Pac has done in 2/1-2 years.

He has SMASHED Cotto/Clottley/Margarito.... Floyd would NEVER fight any of those three, ever.

Manny is stealing souls whilst Floyd is winning $90k bets etc.

Manny is cleaning out the 147 division whilst Floyd fights 140 lb'ers at 147.

    You've gotta love Manny....
