Instant Classic win, Going into PR against the top fighter of the region being brought in essentially as a "Warm up", Salido had one of the greatest victory's in this historic rivalry.

Right up there with Sanchez, Chavez, Margarito, Segura ect...

Gomez took Zarate's 0, but that was avenged by the single most devastating victory in this rivalry.

Tito took Campas, and Vargas 0 as well. But theres no comparison to the Sanchez-Gomez bout. That win hasn't been topped for the last 30 years, and quite frankly i dont see it ever being topped. :bbb

Sad to say it but damn its true.
For the last past couple years we been losing to the Mexicans. Cotto going down to Margo and Calderon losing to Segura are ok in my eyes, but damn Juanma too and to Salido. Idk wtf is going on.

I will say this though we got alot of prospect coming up into the Pro ranks. And with more promoters in PR along with GBP. We'll have a even better boxing program than we had before.

Na Juanma always lacked something to me. Salido had a great gameplan and came in focused.

People can blame Juanama "problems" all they want, but I can tell you a Puerto Ricans worse nightmare is a Mexican high volume puncher with a granite chin. Most Puerto Ricans are the better boxer in the fight and can outbox the Mexican but once it goes into the midrounds and the PR gets tired is when the real fight begins.

Juanma didn't take that knee and quit, nor did he try and hold or run. Much respect to Juanma for fighting like a warrior.

But now let's give Salido his props!!! For not giving in to all the hype about the odds and just believing in himself. It's all about that Mexican heart.

Hey, "Wuzupman", you are taking it way too personal compay. Don'y worry Puerto Rico will get their's and we'll see the Boricuas giving the Mexicans crap. It's just the nature of the greates rivalry. We gotta be thick skinned here, no nenas.

Lopez showed lots of heart this past Saturday, even a flashy dude like Camacho has shown heart many times in his career. Both of our fighters have hearts, and mad pride. Which makes this great rivalry so great. :bbb
