    Na you're the one making Gatti seems like a jack of all trades. Gatti is just like Maidana. Only difference between the two is Gatti is the better boxer and Maidana punches harder.

    Gatti wins if it gets into the latter rounds.
    Maidana wins early.

    and i didn't say that, but we're talking about Maidana, who's a slow (not JuanMa slow, but still slow) plodding, power puncher, Gatti actually could move, he was very fluid on his feet, common, and this would show against MAIDANA, i can't believe you don't see that!

    and yes if Maidana wins, it'll be early, i'll agree with that, i.e. Manfredy fight

    Based on what exactly does Maidana punch harder then Gatti though do you think? Just curious :think

    When Gatti is throwing straight bombs like he does, at the end of those sweeping left hook power shots I am not convinced that Maidana punches all that much harder in all honesty. But maybe on a punch for punch basis. But I think Maidanas power is a tad overrated.

    Gatti was able to get Hoyas attention with his power at one point in their fight.... and honestly I dont think Maidana would even make Hoya blink. I would say their power is fairly close, but due to their delivery of it it will get different results against different fighters.

    Also, citing one punch from one fight isnt a good way of determining that one fighter couldnt or wouldnt do to another. Just because Maidana got up from that Khan punch, in the first round mind you (meaning, it wasnt in the 7th, 8th or 9th) doesnt mean Gatti could stop Maidana to the head or through an accumilation of punches throughout the fight in a bloody war.

    That being said, its just my opinion, and also in a way im being somewhat of a devils advocate, just trying to see it at both sides. For some reason I still think Maidana is able to walk Gatti down and win enough rounds to beat him, maybe stop Gatti late. But Gatti is live as hell in this one and wouldnt be surprised if he beat Maidana.

    Victor Ortiz = a better fighter than Gatti has ever beaten, and a better fighter than Gatti period.

    If your not a world champion it doesnt make you a gatekeeper, Maidana is currently a contender- which is defferent from a gatekeeper.
    You have to beat a gatekeeper to get amongst contenders.

    LOL. ****, do you have any idea what Berto would have done to Gatti? I'll give you a hint.... it wouldnt have been pretty.

    He was overrated when he was alive, and now he's even MORE overrated that he's dead.

    Arturo Gatti was talented at getting his ass whupped.
