I don't think Arum is in any financial trouble, it doesn't mean I like him necessarily either. He's pissed at HBO for not taking the Cotto fight, this seems to be payback for that. Also this year if memory serves me correctly Arum had two cards this year on BAD so he's still working with them, this is nothing more than boxing postering, politics in my opinion, money will bring them all together again, Especially if Floyd signs to fight Pac, then they will all be happy again, for a minute.

I didn't know any of this! I will be interested to see what PPV figures Manny vs Shane does on Showtime.

But back to this original post what deal could HBO be offering Floyd? Who is there left for him to fight and make a big pay day against without Manny?

Martinez isn't actually a big fight you can sell to the casual fans, hardcore fans would love it though.

Khan would be a great fight in terms of PPV figures and has always been a ambition of Floyds to fight in the UK but that would be 6 months plus away would HBO be willing to wait?

are you serious the 147 div is getting hotter as we speak, they need to lock him down so the manny fight doesn't happen at showtime.

This weekend has shown on us that their is FAR MORE TO boxing than Top Rank, and Arum seriously over estimated his stable of fighters clout.

    Mayweather vs. S. Martinez :good:happy

Really? You think if Floyd beat anyone of these guys at 147 he would get any credit? I can't see it and plus most of these guys aren't big sellers so I don't see it.

I'd like to see him in with Martinez or PAC other than that I don't know who else is viable maybe Khan in two fights time, or maybe Ortiz if he defends his title well?
