That and the fact neither DM or Hill fulfilled their mandatory obligations

I notice how you don't call it a joke that the WBC stripped Jones, that was obviously a justifiable stripping and Rochiagani was robbed where as when DM was stripped for not facing mandatories it was the evil American's stealign the belts. Bodhi's hypocracy exposed again

Oh, yeah right, because DM should have defended those belts like what two weeks after winning them? And, Rocchigiani won his lawsuit, didn´t he? If you are an hypcrite for stating facts than so I am. :thumbsup

As I said the greedy sanctioning bodies could go to US and HBO where the purses were higher. I never said it was right just a fact of the times

Jones would win handily but would still show some vulnerabilities and take a fare bit of punishment in this one. Would have given us a rare insight into a "beatable" prime Jones. By beatable I mean, people would say after the fight that perhaps guys better than Dariusz but with some of his tools could have got the job done..

I don´t think Jones was really more skilled. Far superior athletically and as a ring general though.

Likely result is Jones winning a decision.Roy had terrific speed and very good power, but let's not act like every performance he had was like the one he had against Pazienza.Jones was usually very conservative in his approach and I can't see him wanting to take many risks against such an aggressive fighter that carried serious power in both hands.

Id say Jones mastered the skill of boxing to suit his atheleticism. He was definitely more skilled than DM anyways, he didnt have this diverse skillset. Jones could box and move and fight inside. DM was a bit more one dimensional.

Any performance against Pazienza (a past-it, 'roided lightweight fighting a potential all time great at super-middle) should be thrown out in considering a match-up of two natural super-mid/light heavies.

DM was intriguing and looked very good in many fights. However, his style was not made for a long career. When he started to go down, he did so quickly.

Your first sentence is true. The rest, well, Jones was as one-dimensional as DM.

i disagree. if jones had won this fight, people would have looked as dariusz as just another name and critics would still say jones didn't fight anyone.

holy sh!t this is a stupid comment. just say you don't like jones instead of making yourself look like you know nothing about the sport.

I would say you have mastered the skill of misspelling a meaningless word.

It isn't a track meet or a basketball game (tho odds are DM was a better ballplayer), it's a fight.

Ah, I love when people make statements like that without providing any argument. :thumbsup

Well I think it was a month but Hill should have fought his mandatory in the first place, Roch won a law suit but so did Guthrie and that's why DM was stripped :deal So if it was a joke DM was stripped, isn't it right Jones wasn't stripped? Or are you a hypocrite B? :dealRoch also pulled out of Jones fight offered to him after that event. :deal

    AGENDA EXPOSED AGAIN :deal
