Well if Cameron was more impressive in his earlier fights he may have gotten/ even deserved the shot.
Unfortunately he has looked mediocre at best since dropping to Cruiserweight.

 

If we took the licenses off everyone who pulled out of bouts there would prob be no one left.

 

I definitely think it is something that should be looked at, Maybe taking the license is a little harsh but they need to find something that is going to deter boxers from doing it so regularly, Fines? Ranking drops?
If a fighter is injured or some kind of personal/family issue then fair enough but it happens way too much.

 

cameron vs vea and the winner to fight green, i can see it happenning now. and it could be justified, if cameron wins hes beaten arguably 3 of australias best cruiserweights and will be in the public eye, if vea wins he will have proved himself to the public by beating the "contender" cameron, either way at least it will be a fully fledged cruiser fighting green and a worthy defence imo

 

It could be justified, however i personally feel that if 1 of them isnt impressive & it goes to a boring close decision like some of Cameron's other recent bouts then either of them prob dont deserve a shot at Green.
Either of them struggling to get past the other...aint going to raise too much interest IMO.

 

Interesting thoughts...perhaps if a medical certificate from a accredited ANBF physician or a serious family issue will need to be required otherwise 1 of the options you suggest may need to happen.

 

yeah i agree fully, cameron doesnt have any pop at cruiser and looks too predictable to me. id like to see dom vea beat him to tell the truth at least you wouldnt go home wondering if he and green fought

 

I know he has a fight in 6 weeks, So hopefully he can line up a big fight for the Greeny card

 

Yeah my mate is pretty goos mates with greeny so always get the best seats first

 

I agree did Wills sign a contract if he did then it should be enforced if he didn't then not much that can be done green has supported him for a while so if no contract he stayed loyal to those who have been loyal to him

what about a say 1 or 2 month fight ban if you pull out? takes $'s off the table of the fighter so a pretty big deterent. also means you can't go to a card close to date pulled out on?? Think I'm onto something here!!

I am sure I read cameron had an injury pre mccracken but can't remember what it was? anyone know anymore??
