    throwing it out there.

Ortiz needs to fight his mandatory Aydin next. Pretty much every boxing fan would cum in there pants if Maidana vs Katsidis was made.

For GBP Ortiz seems to have turned a corner and at 147 I would give him the advantage.

Ortiz could do Aydin & Maidana this year. Next year rematched with Peterson and Berto before a mega fight with Khan/Pacquiao/Mayweather etc

The WBC aren't going to enforce Ortiz vs Aydin.

It's not a smart business move for them. Plus Aydin will likely be more than happy clocking up fights for the ''silver'' title.

I think we'd get another war man .I would like to see another 2 between these 2 .I think they're made for each other man like Gatti Ward etc .Not as good but maybe one that would be a defenit foty candidate

Ortiz will surely have learned a great deal from their first fight. Standing in the centre of the ring with maidana is suicide; that's where his massive power comes from as his feet are planted and he can get the full force of the shot. Strangely enough, Morales and Corley were the ones who showed up Maidana's terrible balance by moving laterally which is what would have been expected by his younger opponents like khan and ortiz.
I think the fight being at 147 would help Ortiz as well. The extra 7 pounds would not help Maidana's already poor agility and I would see him struggling to pace himself well enough to keep sustained pressure on Ortiz. I think Ortiz adapting a more cautious approach than the 1st fight would see him taking a wide decision, possibly a late stoppage if he wore Maidana down enough

“I congratulate Victor Ortiz to his victory and I hope that he is man enough to fight me”

“Ortiz should not forget that he only got his shot at the title because I stepped aside from my mandatory right to challenge Berto. Berto knew exactly why he didn’t want to fight me. He knows how strong I am and that I would have beaten him. He thought he would have better chances against Ortiz. Now I can only hope that Ortiz doesn’t run away from me like Berto did over the past two years.”

“I know that Ortiz is strong and looked excellent last weekend but I also know that I am stronger”

“My determination and willpower will be too much for him. I should have been the man to win the title from Berto but now I will be the man who beats the man who beat Berto. I don’t care who my opponent is as long as I get the title fight I worked for my whole life. I can’t wait to get my hands on the gold and green belt.”
