McCloskey did more in that presser than in the fight itself, Dang that presser had more action than the fight itself.

 

Biggest mistake made by Oscar De La Hoya was to give the dog (McCloskey) a bone, The way they heckled Oscar was just shocking. No class whatsoever, McCloskey got the biggest payday of his life and to behave like that is just downright ungrateful. Time to move on.

But still funny as hell to watch. Just wish Paul did more than he spoke.

 

The funny bit is when Oscar is being heckled by McCloskey and his team. The Irish media are going insane and Oscar is trying to politely say "no rematch, Ive got more important things to do with Khan".

De La hoya and Khan dont own boxing....If you feel aggrieved and insulted by your opponent and promotional team then its better to say so...

Absolutely classless form McCLoskey and his team, These people are an embarrassment to Ireland and Irish people. You would think a euro bum like McCloskey would have the humility and respect to let De La Hoya speak given that he just gave McCloskey the biggest payday of his life, a world title shot and got him on HBO.

Instead McCloskey thinks he is owed something by De La Hoya! This is what happens when Tinkers (Irish travellers) get on the big scene.

Training your whole life for a world title opportunity, doing it the right way(British, European route) unlike Khan, putting in so much effort the last 3 months, having thousands of supporters in the MEN arena to watch and then to be stopped on a ridiculous cut by an incompetent doctor/ref combo (who didnt seem to know the rules regarding getting the doctor in the ring). I think they are fully justified in getting whatever grievance they have off their chest. I would be more concerned if they said nothing....

 

Given all that you would have though Paul was going to do more than he did in the fight. I dont want to hear about this dumb **** plan that was going to happen rounds 7-12 im sick of hearing it. Its a joke! An Irish folk tale that Irish people tell there children "McCloskey was going to win in rounds 7-12 but it was a conspiracy by english judges and doctor with the help of Puerto Rican referee who didnt want the Irish to win!"
