Not really. Common sense says that in the 120+ years of boxing in Britain every single one of the top 10 fighters were likely to have been produced in the last 40 years.

I'm sorry NO MAS but ive made a vow to ruin the legacies of all the Mexican greats due to the amount of abuse LP has been giving me in the prediction league thread.

You are such a ****** by claiming others are biased you don't realise how biased you are.

And it's all down to ignorance. You'd watch Canzoneri and label him 'old fashioned'.

Na it's an all time list. The BBC did a similar article but stated it was a post war list, whereas the Sun's one clearly said it was An all time list. Ooh, and never say 'to a lesser extent jimmy Wilde' :bbb

Ok stick with big Joe who's two biggest wins come against a shot Roy Jones and a very close victory against an ageing (yet still decent) Bernard Hopkins.

Compare that to Lewis who fought in a stacked Heavyweight era and fought and beat most of the top guys.

I doubt Calzaghe is number 1 on Vano's list either. And you consider RJJ as one of his two best wins?

The thing is I NEVER EVER claim today's fighter are the best ever. The way some people (including you) go on about fighters who fought '' back in the day '' you would think they were superhuman.

Jimmy Wilde, Bob Fitzsimmons and Ted Lewis could all conceiveably be placed above Lewis.
