The likes of ''Ben'' and Gemmill100 are two examples of Brook fanboys.... though Ben might be jesting.

Like I said, DeGale was at York Hall and was having the craic with the supporters..... nobody seemed to think he was arrogant and nor was he chatting much ****.

We didn't go over to speak to him ourselves, but were well within earshot pretty much the entire time.

I'm surprised I haven't made it onto this thread!
I've toned it down recently though!

The only guys that put me off a fighter are the ones who bang on about Andy Lee like he's the second coming.
Otherwise no one really puts me off

Billy is a top bloke, he says it as he sees it, what's wrong with that...:think

Billy has always got time for the punters and encourages his fighters to do the same, you can argue with that...:good

    A very dissenting thread...:-(

wether or not in person billy nelson is a nice guy i think the way he speaks to posters on here is out of order. just like he has his opinion of his fighters or other peoples fighter the posters on here have that right too. just cause he doesn't agree he starts the 'you know **** all about boxing' **** if you don't want to hear peoples views don't come on.

I'll wait for your reply to suggest he should have been stopped in the 10th.

Haha - had the shoe been on the other foot you dont think they would have stopped Maidana?!

Maidana couldnt stop DeMarcus Corely or an ancient but game Morales - but Khan surviving, flailing about the ring and TURNING his back proves hes got some new chin.:rofl

His power is hideously overrated, his fellow countryman hits harder than him.

I met James Degale at the Floyd Mayweather work-out the year before last and he is a really nice guy. The problem is that he is in the process of creating a persona especially for his boxing career and unless people meet him it is more than likely that they will percieve him to be as such.
