Salido. Lopez doesn't have the defense to stay away from Salido's bombs all night, doesn't have the chin to take them, and Salido can take Lopez's shots. He'd probably have a better chance against Gamboa simply because while Gamboa might just annihilate him with speed, Lopez catches Gamboa with a counter he probably hurts him.

Lopez needs a couple of minor adjustments and he can win the re-match w/Salido.

On the other hand IMO, he would lose the rematch with Rafa Marquez!

You are all underestimating Gamboa's chin based on the hearsay train. Gamboa took Salido's punches, and his KD came after Salido connected and Gamboa threw but missed, thus going off balance.

90% of the forum speak about Gamboa's chin mainly from what they heard and read here, not from what they actually saw and analyzed.

Plus López KO power seems more of a myth now.

I think you're going too far by categorizing JML's power as a "myth"

OK the divorce, the weight, blah blah blah .....how many times have you not been at ur best and some shmuck gets the better of you? then you regroup show up ready and blast the guy out....if Juanma is to be all that and cant blast a guy with 11 losses in a rematch well then we need to lower our expectations.....which for me where none too high anyway....admire the kids guts and tenacity though.

I agree, if he loses to Salido again, then we all need to lower expectations by a lot.

Salodo ko 1. Juanmas better off giving DPDL a rematch cause Salido owns him.

I'm afraid that if they fight again it will be the end of Lopez career , he can not defeat Salido unless he sorts his STAMINA problems first , he also has to work on his defense , but I believe that is his conditioning what he has to work on the most , if you watch Gamboa vs Salido fight , Gamboa spent almost the whole fight throwing combinations , he didn't gave Salido time to adapt and do ( Salido ) his fightplan , even in the 10,11 and the last round Gamboa was throwing punches , so much so that he k.d Salido , yes , Gamboa's stamina and conditioning are FENOMENAL , he is a real ATHLETE , that's the first thing Juanma is missing , he is far from being an athlete , what's funy about this is that after that fight ( Gamboa vs Salido ) he was asked about what he thought of Gamboa after that fight and he very arrogantly said that Gamboa looked slow , tired and confused by Salido , he said that Gamboa need it to improve more if he wanted to reach his ( Juanma ) level , etc !!! WTF !!! He couldn't even hurt Salido and his legs were GONE by the 5th round !! now he wants Salido a.s.a.p , well , unless Sponge Bob buys Salido , he has no chance . Bye,Bye Juanma . Peace .

Thank you. Sometimes I wonder, have I been watching a different guy?
I mean, how has nobody noticed ALL of Juanma's flaws. Well, Salido did, I guess. Same result, different day unless JML becomes a whole dif fighter. Something unlikely to happen.

Yes, same result all over. Juanma needs to be reborn to win that fight.
